This year’s “Lil Weezyana Fest” was due to take place in New Orleans later today. However, due to “unforeseen circumstances”, Lil Wayne has had to postpone his 6th annual music festival.

Taking to his Instagram page, Wayne apologized for the late delay, announced the new date which will be October 29th, and vowed to make it up to fans:

“It is with my sincerest apologies that I must announce… due to unforeseen circumstances, Lil Weezyana Fest will be postponed until Oct 29. To my fans, you know I always want to deliver the best show possible and we hope this has not inconvenienced you in anyway. The festival was sold out thanks to you. Please hold on you to your tickets and I will see you in October. I promise to make it up to you and to my city. Love”

The concert was set to include live performances from Moneybagg Yo, Coi Leray, Babyface Ray, Rob 49, and more artists. Young Money artist Euro also shared the unfortunate news yesterday during an interview with Mike D from Hot 106. You can check that out below!

The 6th annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” has been announced and like the past 5 music festivals, it will be taking place in Lil Wayne‘s hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as be presented by radio station Q93 and Live Nation Urban.

This year’s show, which is being held at Champions Square’s Bold Sphere Music, will be happening on Saturday, October 29th and include live performances from Unc & Phew (Quavo and Takeoff), Cam’ron, Rick Ross, Babyface Ray, Rob 49, Mellow Rackz, Neno Calvin, and more. If it’s based on the previous concerts, there will be plenty of special guests making appearances too.

If you wish to attend the 2022 “Lil Weezyana Fest“, everyone will be able to purchase tickets via Ticketmaster from this Friday (July 15th) at 10AM CDT. This year’s MTV Video Music Awards nominations were announced yesterday and Lil Wayne picked up a nod in the “Best Hip-Hop” category.

The nomination Tunechi received was for DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One” music video, which also features Justin Bieber, Quavo, and Chance The Rapper.

The 2nd annual “Lil Weezyana Fest“ went down at Champions Square’s Bold Sphere Music in Lil Wayne‘s hometown New Orleans, Louisiana on August 27th.

Weezy brought out Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, Mystikal, Migos, Yo Gotti, Partners N Crime, Baby E, Rico Richie, Young Greatness, S-8ighty, Showboys, Ms. Tee, and Fiend during the show to perform songs live.

Throughout the show, Tunechi performed “Hot Boy“, “Finessin’” with Baby E, “Moolah” with Young Greatness, “Loyal” with Breezy, “Halfway” with S-8ighty, “Duffle Bag Boy“, “No Problem“, “MFN Right“, “Blue C-Note” and more tracks live with Tity Boi.

This has of course already started the rumors that Weezy and Drizzy will be premiering a new collaboration during the episode, so hopefully those rumors turn out to be true.
