In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Lil Wayne explained why he does not believe in racism and for his reasoning, he tells the story of when he shot himself at the age of 12-years-old.

Tunechi recalled that it was a white police officer named Uncle Bob who saved him after he was bleeding on the floor with a hole in his chest and it was black cops that stepped over him to look for guns and drugs. You can watch Tune tell the story in the video after the jump below.

This is not the first time that Weezy has mentioned he doesn’t believe in racism as in the “Skip And Shannon: Undisputed” interview last month, he said he has never ever dealt with racists and has seen every race at his shows. Also, in an interview with The New York Times earlier this week, Wayne revealed he doesn’t worry for racism and the Black Lives Matter movement as he only cares for his family!

Gabby Douglas recently told MTV at the premiere of Justin Bieber’s Believe documentary that she listens to a lot of Lil Wayne and Drake music while she works out and trains. The Olympic Gold Medalist also explained that Weezy and Drizzy‘s music gets her hyped, but she only listens to the clean versions of their rap songs.

“A lot of rap music. Lil Wayne and Drake, the edited versions of course, but it gets me really hyped up.”

If you didn’t already know, Gabby Douglas is the very first African American gymnast to win a solo Olympic gold medal. In 2012, Wayne also tweeted how proud he was of Gabby for winning her medal: “Glad i lived to see what Gabby Douglas did in the Olympics. Icon.”

In the video above, Justin Bieber speaks to Flava in New Zealand about his upcoming song featuring Lil Wayne called “Backpack“, which will be released on the repackaging of his Believe album.

Bieber says that the track is about an alien he finds and puts in his backpack, but the crazy thing about it is Weezy rapping at the end as the actual alien. Also in the clip above, you can hear a little preview of what the funky instrumental will sound like!

Last year, Lil Wayne said he would not work on a song with Justin Bieber, but it looks like things have changed. Bieber told Fuse that he has collaborated with Weezy on a track called “Backpack“, which will be released on the repackage of his Believe album. Justin also spoke about his collaboration with Wayne‘s Young Money artist, Nicki Minaj, on “Beauty And A Beat” and hoping to shoot a music video for it.

A week after Lil Wayne basically called Juelz Santana lazy and announced that their I Can’t Feel My Face collaboration album has now turned in to his solo I Am Not A Human Being II album, Juelz told BET that he has recently spoke to Weezy and confirmed that their collabo album is still in the works. He also explained the reason why he couldn’t send back new music to Tune for the album at the time, which was because his studio had got raided and one of his friends had died in the studio.
