Lil Wayne Speaks On New Hip-Hop, His Porn Star Name & Calls All Of His Old Music “Unfinished” [Video]

Lil Wayne Speaks On New Hip Hop, His Porn Star Name & Calls All Of His Old Music Unfinished

For an interview with one of his latest business ventures, Bumbu Rum, Lil Wayne pays a visit to The Bumbu Room to sit down with Sara Gilbert.

“Because I don’t listen to no other hip-hop but my damn self.”

During their conversation, Weezy revealed what bad habits he has, his thoughts on the “once a cheater, always a cheater” saying, if he could ever date a girl after she has been with his friend first, if he has any guilty pleasure music, what his porn star name would be, and if Stephen A. Smith is always right and never wrong about anything.

“Every song that I ever put out was unfinished. I can’t listen to whatever songs I have out until I put it on a setlist for my show. That’s when I have to listen the song because I have no idea what the words are. That’s the only time I got back and listen to it because simply I’m working on other stuff.”

Tunechi also mentioned he “loves” this new direction that hip-hop has took, he listens to no other rappers except for himself, and he doesn’t remember the words to any of his old music, which he then also called every old song of his “unfinished”. You can check out the interview below!

Directors Talk About Working With Lil Wayne On Set Of Commercials

Complex recently chopped it up with people that have worked with Lil Wayne on set of his commercials to see what it was like working with him.

Sara Gilbert, who is the Public Relations Manager for Sovereign Brands, talked about how Weezy acted as his own director to improve the scenes while on set of the Bumbu ads and the “A Word With Wayne” series:

“It must be from his experience being a professional for all of his adult life. He can hear something and put his own spin to it instantaneously. He might hear something upstairs or down the hallway-[maybe] someone shifted their weight and they have their keys in their pocket. He’ll stop and wait for the noise to clear and then he’ll resume or we’ll take it from the top. He doesn’t miss a stride, it doesn’t throw him off his game. The fact that he self-corrects, he’s directing himself, is amazing.”

Matt Aselton, who directed Tunechi in the commercials for Samsung, spoke on how his crew were unconvinced at first if Tune would be able to act the scenes, as well as how he reminds him of an athlete:
