Lil Wayne Earns A Nomination At The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards For His D6 Reloaded Mixtape

The nominations for the 2018 BET Hip-Hop Awards show have been announced and Lil Wayne earned a total of 1 nod.

Tunechi was nominated in the “Best Mixtape” category for his D6: Reloaded mixtape, which makes me wonder why his Dedication 6 tape wasn’t nominated either.

This year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards will take place from the The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Florida on October 6th before premiering October 16th at 8PM EST on BET Networks.

You can see who Weezy will be going up against below! The Young Money founder’s artists are also up for awards with Drake earning 11 nods and Nicki Minaj receiving 2 nods. Do you think Dedication 6: Reloaded will win?

If you didn’t already know, the Weezy song that can be found on his Dedication 6: Reloaded mixtape is a freestyle over Ink‘s “Tell Somebody” beat, which was produced by Dez Wright.

The Los Angeles artist, who is signed to RCA Records, also called Tunechi the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) by putting goat emojis in the caption. You can check out the video below! Is “Back From The 80s” one of your fav records off D6: Reloaded?

Tunechi released part 1 of Dedication 6 a month ago yesterday, and now he has dropped D6: Reloaded, which consists of 20 tracks.

The tape includes features from Drake, Euro, Gudda Gudda, Jay Jones, Juelz Santana, Lil Twist, Marley G, Rich The Kid, Stephanie Acevedo, and Vice Versa.

The second part of D6 will consist of 20 songs and include the freestyles “Family Feud“, “Big Bad Wolf“, and “Bloody Mary“.
