The YNT founder went into more detail about why he said Gillie Da Kid lied about writing for Lil Wayne, both of them nearly signing to Master P (No Limit), hearing Wayne‘s “I Miss My Dawgs” track for the very first time, and more.

Turk Talks Catching Pubic Lice With Lil Wayne, I Miss My Dawgs Song, Birdman & Wayne Kiss + More

Turk was the recent guest on the “Drink Champs” podcast were he sat down both N.O.R.E. aka Noreaga and DJ EFN for an interview, which you can watch in full below.

Throughout their conversation, Turk shared stories about him and Lil Wayne contemplating leaving Birdman / Cash Money Records to sign with Master P / No Limit, both of them catching crabs together from two sisters in Houston, and getting Wayne and Kodak Black on their very first song together with “Fuk How It Turn Out“.

The YNT founder also opened up about Tunechi‘s “I Miss My Dawgs” song, the infamous kiss between Baby and Weezy, tracks from the early Cash Money days like “Project Chick“, Gillie Da Kid claiming he ghostwrote for Mr. Carter in the past, Tune saying fuck Turk during his own “Drink Champs” interview, and much more. Turk did call Wayne his brother still to this day, but he could not pick an answer from the “Lil Wayne or Drake” game!

DJ Khaled Recalls How He First Connected With Lil Wayne While Working At Odyssey Records In New Orleans

DJ Khaled was the recent guest on the “Drink Champs” podcast were he sat down with both N.O.R.E. aka Noreaga and DJ EFN for an interview to promote his God Did album (watch below).

At the 44:50 mark of their conversation, Khaled was asked the usual Drink Champs question of “Lil Wayne or Drake?“. The record executive couldn’t pick just one of them as he loves them both and called both of them his brother. He even added that the history himself and Wayne have made so far is “unbelievable”.

Later on in their convo at the 1:15:50 mark, Khaled shared the story of how he first connected with Tunechi and Birdman while working at Odyssey Records store in New Orleans – were he also mentioned the albums from the Cash Money Records artists would sell out really quickly. The disc jockey pointed out that he was there when Baby signed Weezy to CMR too!

Trina was the recent guest on the “Drink Champs” podcast were she sat down with N.O.R.E. aka Noreaga and DJ EFN for a new interview, which you can watch below.

At the 23:50 mark, Trina was asked to play their usual game of “Drake or Lil Wayne” to which she first answered both of them, before then going on to choose Wayne: “in real life time I’mma go with Wayne, in the real form it’s goin’ to always be Wayne”.

The Miami female rapper then went on to speak about previously dating Weezy back in 2005 and getting engaged to him: “Back in the day, just from our situation, we were just young. You know sometimes when you’re young, this industry is just fast. It just doesn’t work out the way you plan or how you think it’s going to work out. You’re 20-something years old, you’re hot in the game, making so much money all over the place. Wayne is one of the most honest guys I’ve ever been around or met. When I say honest, like, a real honest person. He’s not with the games, that’s not him… he’s a great person.”

Juelz Santana was the recent guest on the “Drink Champs” podcast were he sat down with N.O.R.E. aka Noreaga and DJ EFN for a new interview.

At the 15:40 mark of their conversation, Santana gave a shout out to his “bro” Lil Wayne for “making an unexpected move” even though he says Wayne “never wants [the] praise”.

Later on in the convo (52:15), Juelz chose Tunechi when asked to pick between Tune or Drake and at the 1:14:00 mark, he said that he recorded the I Can’t Feel My Face joint album with Weezy when he was drinking the most lean he ever has in his life.

Before the interview wrapped up at 2:17:20, Juelz Santana mentioned he likes to call himself and Lil Wayne the “Blues Brothers”, as well as talked about his influence on Wayne and vice versa. He even revealed they “always got music together”. You can check it all out in the video below!
