Chris Brown Recalls Himself & Lil Wayne Asking Busta Rhymes To Re-Record His Look At Me Now Verse

To promote his latest album, Breezy, Chris Brown sat down with the L.A. Leakers (Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk) from Power 106 for an interview that you can watch below.

During their conversation at the 29:55 mark, CB recalled himself and Lil Wayne asking Busta Rhymes to re-do his verse on the “Look At Me Now” single while they were all in a studio session at The Hit Factory with Timbaland.

“Busta gave me a verse at first and it was just cool. Wayne was like: ‘I don’t know.’ I was like: ‘Yo Bus, I need you to go in bro, just do your sh*t bro.’ He said: ‘alright motherf*cker!’ He was like: ‘I gotchu.’ He just went crazy.”

After Busta re-did his verse, this is then when Wayne decided to record a verse for “Look At Me Now“, which Breezy says was originally supposed to be just a mixtape song before he decided to place it on his F.A.M.E. album in 2011. The track is now 8x Platinum!
