Cory Gunz sits down with Queenflip and DJ G Money for episode 211 of their Flip Da Script podcast that went on for longer than 2 hours. You can watch the full episode in the video below.

In their interview, Cory talked about being an introvert, growing up, his father Peter Gunz, skateboarding, his gun charge, still being signed to Young Money, why he has not yet released an album on YM, depression, his twin daughters, being a big brother to his pops’ 11 kids, Kriminal Minded EP, Rick Ross taking his “God Forgives I Don’t” album title, the “Son Of A Gun” show, and upcoming projects.

From the 19:00 mark of their conversation, Redd talks about having a song with everyone from the original Cash Money Records days including Lil Wayne, reveals how he first met the Young Money CEO in the studio, and says “Wayne [has] always been family”.

Later on in their interview at 49:30, Eyezz recalls the time he collaborated with Weezy on the song “Bling Blaw“. He says this was the era of Tunechi in his “eating rappers” mode and Tune had just won four GRAMMYs, so he was grateful to receive a free verse as he knew Mr. Carter was charging $150k for a feature verse at this current time!

Lil Wayne Discusses His Childhood, Not Believing In Racism, Playing Tennis & More On The More To It Podcast

Lil Wayne recently participated in a 1-hour conversation with former American football player Marcellus Wiley on his “More To It” podcast, which is a show featuring interviews with entertainers.

In their convo, Wayne discussed growing up in the 17th Ward of New Orleans, signing to Cash Money Records, dressing up as Michael Jackson and performing for his family at a young age (this is when he realized he loved performing), his late stepfather Rabbit, the Cash Money/Ruff Ryders tour, Slim Williams, the moment when Birdman and Slim knew he was a solo artist and not a Hot Boy anymore, and being a student of the game every single day.

Also during their talk, Weezy spoke on wanting to become the ultimate music artist, how it feels to be in the conversation for the greatest rapper of all time, Roger Federer being the G.O.A.T. in tennis, playing tennis himself with his homie T@, the time he said he does not believe in racism on “Undisputed”, what he would tell his older self if he could go back in time, the Green Bay Packers, preferring American football over basketball, preferring Los Angeles over Miami, and what the hardest part and the best part about being Lil Wayne is.

A private early birthday party was set up for Lil Wayne at The Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles, California on September 25th to celebrate him turning the big 40-years-old.

Tunechi arrived to the birthday bash with his four kids and Dhea Sodano. Other members of Tune‘s family such as his mother Jacida Cater, and close friends like Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe, YG, Yella Beezy, Gudda Gudda, HoodyBaby, T-Streets, Mack Maine, Cortez Bryant, Allan Cubas, T@, Petey Lo, DJ Scoob Doo, Marcus Wiley, Emmanuel Acho, SpanishMike, Phillip Lopez, Yosef Ratleff, and Theotis Beasley also attended.

For Weezy‘s biggest surprise of the night, one of his favorite music artists of all time, Keith Sweat, came out to perform a few of his songs live. You can check out some footage from the party below, which shows everything that went down during the evening.
