Rick Ross sat down with Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed from REAL 92.3 in Los Angeles at the end of July for an interview, which you can watch below.

During their conversation at the 18:35 mark, Ross confirmed that he put both Lil Wayne and Pusha T on his upcoming “Maybach Music VI” song, which will be appearing on his Port Of Miami 2 album tomorrow (August 9th).

The MMG founder even added that we have to “wait” to see if both Weezy and Pusha do appear together on the track as he put it together without each of them knowing, because he wonders if their beef is really “personal” after all.

Rozay did confirm that both verses have been cleared, however, he did also go on to say that right now may not be the correct time for Tune and Push to put their 13-year feud behind them and move forward for the culture!

Rick Ross Maybach Music VI Confirmed To Feature Both Lil Wayne & Pusha T

Rick Ross has both Lil Wayne and Pusha T featured on his “Maybach Music VI” collaboration, which will appear on Rozay‘s upcoming Port Of Miami 2 album, due to drop on August 9th.

This is certainly going to be an interesting collabo since Tunechi and Pusha are not friends at all and have been beefing since 2006. Click here to see a more detailed view of their feud.

The news came from TV writer and producer, Bonsu Thompson, who attended Ross‘ album listening session on Monday evening. Even though the tweet has now been deleted, he did write on the social media platform the following:

“Yeah #portofmiami2 is hands down one of Rick Ross’ finest bodies of work (front to back). Last qtr of album may be the most lyrical: Drake goes dumb (“Black Roses”). And Maybach Music VI feat Weezy and Pusha.”

In a Twitter DM to myself, DJ Folk also confirmed this news. If you can recall back to 2009, Tune was also featured on Rick‘s “Maybach Music II” song with Kanye West and T-Pain! Are you looking forward to hearing “Maybach Music VI“?

Lasanna “ACE” Harris Speaks On Co-Producing Lil Wayne’s “Famous” Off “Tha Carter V” & Wayne’s Influence In Hip-Hop

Lasanna ACE Harris Speaks On Co-Producing Lil Wayne Famous Off Tha Carter V & Wayne Influence In Hip Hop

Lasanna “ACE” Harris recently chopped it up with DJ Booth about co-producing Lil Wayne‘s “Famous” song featuring his daughter Reginae Carter off Tha Carter V and how influential Wayne is in hip-hop.

“Wayne is one of the most influential artists in hip-hop, period, and has birthed so many offspring.”

The producer talked about how he worked on the “timeless” track with Sham “Sak Pase” Joseph and Sam Bruno around the same time that they was working on beats for Nicki Minaj and her The Pinkprint album.

A week after they had mastered “Famous” back in 2014, Tunechi and Birdman had their public fall out, which went on to last over 4 years and left him being very disappointed thinking that the record will never see the light of day.

ACE then revealed he got an e-mail of out of blue from Weezy‘s team a week before the album was due to be released and explained how it feels “to be a part of a historical moment in hip-hop”. You can read everything he said below!

Lil Wayne Wants Cash Money’s Lawsuit Against His Company Aspire Music Group Thrown Out

Lil Wayne Wants Cash Money Lawsuit Against His Company Aspire Music Group Thrown Out

According to The Blast, Lil Wayne and his music company Aspire Music Group filed documents at the end of October to the court requesting them to dismiss Cash Money Records‘ countersuit.

Aspire, which was co-founded by Tunechi and his former manager Cortez Bryant, have told the court that Cash Money only filed this lawsuit after Tune won his lawsuit against Birdman earlier this year even though the alleged fraud took place years ago. They even pointed out that the accusations from CM don’t make any sense as Wayne would have to participate in more acts that would end up harming him financially.

This lawsuit all began last year when Aspire Music Group sued Cash Money and Universal for not paying them their earnings owed from Drake‘s royalties. CM then counter-sued AMG and accused Weezy and Tez of creating this record label as a way to get richer by receiving a bigger share of Drizzy‘s royalties, as well as claimed the company has never conducted in any business other than helping the Canadian rapper get signed!

Birdman Claims Lil Wayne & Cortez Bryant Have Been Plotting With Their Lawyer To Earn A Bigger Share Of Drake’s Profits

Birdman Claims Lil Wayne & Cortez Bryant Have Been Arranging A Way To Earn A Bigger Share Of Drake Royalties

Even though it seemed like everything was getting back to normal between Lil Wayne and Birdman, it looks like their feud is still ongoing.

According to The Blast, Baby is accusing Wayne and his manager/best friend Cortez Bryant of taking part in an elaborate plan to earn more money from Drake‘s music.

Last year, Aspire Music Group, which is a record label co-founded by Tez Poe, sued Cash Money Records and Universal Music Group for not paying the revenue that they owed from Drizzy‘s royalties.

After looking at the documents, Aspire are claiming that they discovered the 6 God and have a deal in place with Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money permitting them to a 1/3 share of the net profits from Drake‘s first six projects.

Birdman and CM counter-sued Aspire Music Group‘s lawsuit on Friday (August 17th) by accusing Weezy and Tez for plotting with their lawyer Ronald Sweeney to get richer off a bigger share of Drizzy Drake‘s royalties:
