2 Chainz and his roster of artists from his The Real University (T.R.U.) record label recently appeared on Genius’ “For The Record” series to chop it up with Rob Markman.

Around the 8:45 mark of their conversation, Tity Boi revealed he learned about “patience” the most while being around Young Money Entertainment for a very long time.

He also mentioned that he was originally on a few Lil Wayne songs that people don’t know about, such as “Mrs. Officer” and “Steady Mobbin’“. Check it all out below!

Tory Lanez recently sat down with Rob Markman for a one on one interview with Genius‘ “For The Record” series, which you can watch in full below.

To wrap up the conversation at the 39:15 mark, Lanez was asked to recite a verse acapella of someone who he was a fan of growing up to which he started to rap Lil Wayne‘s classic “Cannon” verse from Dedication 2.

After reciting all of the verse word for word, the Canadian artist then revealed it is his favorite verse from Wayne and his favorite verse ever from that era. Earlier on in the interview around the 15:00 mark, Tory also discussed his new “Thoughts” collaboration with Weezy and Lloyd off Chixtape 5 too!

To wrap up the conversation at the 28:00 mark, Durk was asked to rap a verse of someone who has influenced him to which he started to rap a verse from Lil Wayne‘s “Go DJ” single.

After reciting the verse, the Chicago rapper then called Tunechi “the real G.O.A.T.” and revealed it was Tune who made him want to grow dreads and dye his hair blonde!
