The RIAA Update Certifications For 7 Albums & 23 Singles By Lil Wayne

It’s about time! Lil Wayne‘s team have finally updated his certifications with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

I have listed the new Tunechi plaques for his albums and singles after the jump below. With “Lollipop” now being at 8x Platinum, I think it has a huge chance to be Tune‘s very first Diamond record.

PS: There has also been an image going around on social media with these new Weezy RIAA certifications, but there are 3 mistakes on it. I don’t know about you, but I hate how people rush to create things for likes and retweets without focusing on getting the correct information first. Then people will retweet without getting the facts themselves and spread more fake news around!

Lil Wayne Chats To T-Pain, Lil Duval, Damian Lillard, N.O.R.E & Nicki Minaj For Episode 8 Of Young Money Radio

For episode 8 of the “Young Money Radio” show on Apple Music on June 12th, Lil Wayne chopped it up with T-Pain, Lil Duval, Damian Lillard, N.O.R.E., and Nicki Minaj.

After paying tribute to the 12-year anniversary of his iconic Tha Carter III album, Wayne spoke with Pain about how their “Got Money” collaboration came about, both of them being on “The Masked Singer“, and working on T-Wayne 2 with hopes of another song like “Damn, Damn, Damn“. Duval then came on the show to discuss his 43rd birthday, making music, his upcoming comedy special, and more.

Tunechi also chatted to Dame D.O.L.L.A. about the recent protests, police brutality, his shoe deal with Adidas, who his influences in hip-hop growing up were, memories of Kobe Bryant, and tease an unreleased song they have together. Noreaga then came on the show to talk about how he and Tune first met, his favorite boxer, Capone, the late Ceelow, Drink Champs, and recall giving Cash Money a bag of guns for their tour bus back when Young Buck was hanging around with them.

“Telling NASCAR to take away the Confederate flag is like telling me to cut my dreads off.”

Lastly, Weezy chatted with his Young Money artist Nicki about his “Tunechi” sign in his studio, how a lot of people told him to not sign a female, taking time off social media, Minaj getting married, and a possible collaboration album from the two. You can watch highlights from all of their conversations in the videos below!

On November 30th, Lil Wayne headlined the 2019 Diriyah Music Festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You can view plenty of footage of Wayne‘s set that included an auto-tune microphone below.

Throughout the concert, Weezy performed “6 Foot 7 Foot“, “No Worries“, “John“, “Bitches Love Me“, “Rich As Fuck“, “Mrs. Officer“, “Can’t Be Broken“, “Go DJ“, “Got Money“, “Old Town Road (Remix)“, “No Problem“, “Pop That“, “The Motto“, “Steady Mobbin’“, “Uproar“, “Lollipop“, and more songs live for the crowd.

Also during the show, Tunechi told everyone in attendance that he “had some problems getting in the country”, which is also the reason why he went on Twitter afterwards to say: “Never going to Riyadh again!!!” The issue comes from Tune wanting to smoke weed in Saudi Arabia and that is completely illegal in the country!
