Over the weekend, Lil Wayne hit up the studio with Wyclef Jean to work on some new music (see pictures above and below).

Similar to his recent studio session with Juelz Santana last week, Tunechi brought out his one of a kind Fender Jaguar guitar again.

Wyclef and Weezy have previously collaborated on “Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)” and “Operate On Me” in the past! Are you looking forward to hearing the new music they were working on?

Lil Wayne Plays His One Of A Kind Fender Jaguar Guitar In A Studio Session With Juelz Santana

Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne recently had a studio session together, and footage from it has been made available.

In the clip, we can see Wayne coming up with a verse off the top of his head over D.A. Got That Dope production and playing his one of a kind Fender Jaguar guitar.

There is currently no word on what project they were working on, but it could either be Tha Carter VI, an upcoming Juelz project, or even possibly the long-awaited I Can’t Feel My Face album! What do you think it was?

Lil Wayne recently chopped it up with DeSean Jackson for a virtual interview on episode 3 of his “Fade The Booth” series.

During their 1-hour conversation, Weezy spoke about quarantining, surpassing Elvis Presley, his mother being a chef, growing up in New Orleans, his little brother Semaj, fatherhood, his son’s wanting to pursue a rap career, signing to Birdman and Cash Money Records, and his group with B.G. called The B.G.z.

Also in their convo, Tunechi talked about how he was put in solitary confinement for having an iPod in Rikers Island, giving back to charity, learning to play the guitar better for his album Rebirth, Green Bay Packers, skateboarding, YG being a very underrated skater, knowing and remembering the late Kobe Bryant, and much more!

Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne I Get Crazy & Gotta Go Hard Are Now Available On All Streaming Platforms

At midnight on Friday, Nicki Minaj re-released her Beam Me Up Scotty mixtape to all digital streaming platforms for the first time ever after it originally dropped 12 years ago.

As you should already know, the project includes two collaborations with her Young Money boss Lil Wayne – “I Get Crazy” and “Gotta Go Hard“, as well as the new “Seeing Green” collab that features Drake too.

Recording engineer KY also revealed an interesting fact about the “Gotta Go Hard” song: “Wayne recorded his verse in Miami in his condo and that’s him playing the guitar at the end. He was on the balcony looking out at the ocean while he played.”

I have decided to share scans from Lil Wayne‘s cover story for the April 2008 issue of The Source magazine for #ThrowbackThursday today, which took place during a recording session on his tour bus for “Let The Beat Build” and “Lollipop” off Tha Carter III.

In his interview, Weezy spoke on his recording process, ghostwriting for Dr. Dre, being born to rap, why he is the best rapper alive, and shared his thoughts on people saying he is doing too many drugs.

“Everybody talking ’bout ‘the boy on too much drugs, Baby need to take him to rehab’ and all this shit. I want you to know one thing: a junkie can’t do what the fuck I do. Can’t no drug, can’t no bitch, can’t no money faze me. I am the ultimate high. It ain’t what I’m on, it’s what I do, and making great music is what the fuck I do.”

Tune also talked to C. Vernon Coleman II about playing the guitar, believing every album he has put out is a classic, his daughter Reginae Carter, owning all of his publishing and masters, and more!
