Baby E Shares Interesting Stories From Touring & Being In The Studio With Lil Wayne

Baby E recently chopped it up with The Deep Cuts Podcast for an interview, which you can listen to below.

During their conversation, E spoke on his Kill The Noise project, upcoming music, his “Finessin” single, switching from Def Jam to Young Money, how he actually got signed to YM, being managed by Mack Maine, who his favorite underground music artists are, and plenty more.

The Young Money rapper also discussed how Lil Wayne was an inspiration and hero to him while growing up, having the best chemistry with Wayne and Lil Twist in the studio, how Weezy is a big part of his sound, and shared stories from touring with Young Mula.

Before the interview wrapped up, Baby E revealed he has never seen anyone work as hard as Tunechi, as well as how he has witnessed Tune and his engineer work in a studio for 12 – 16 hours from starting at 6AM. He even mentioned that himself and YM all participated in a game by putting money into a jar and the first person to catch Mr. Carter sleeping would win all the money (which had over $5,000.00 in it). However, E says no one won!

Taylor Bennett Praises Lil Wayne, Shares A Funny Story About First Meeting Him

Taylor Bennett recently sat down with Ebro Darden, Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez for an interview with Hot 97 on their “Ebro In The Morning” radio show, which you can watch below.

At the start of their conversation, Peter revealed Chance The Rapper had told him during their interview in June that Taylor had spent around 12 hours hanging around with Lil Wayne, because everyone thought he was Chance – as they are brothers.

The Chicago rapper then went on to explain this story more by saying he first met Wayne before Chance did at SXSW and he managed to get backstage at Weezy‘s set from everyone thinking he was Chance, but he then told Tunechi he was Chance‘s brother and so Tune let him hit his blunt.

Before Rosenberg cut Taylor Bennett off as he was discussing Lil Wayne, he did manage to say that Wayne is the most hard-working artist of all time, as well as that him and Chance both love Mr. Carter and grew up listening to his music while naming songs like “Let The Beat Build“, “1 Night Only“, and even the unofficial The Drought Is Over 4 mixtape!

Toya Wright Speaks On Lil Wayne Beef With Cash Money & If She Would Give Their Relationship Another Go

Toya Wright recently appeared on “The Real” talk show to chop it up with Loni Love, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon for an interview.

During their conversation, Toya revealed she has never met anyone who works as hard as Lil Wayne does and because of that, he deserves his pay and to have his music released.

Wright also mentioned that she hopes Tunechi and Birdman can resolve their issues so we can hear Tha Carter V, as well as that she thinks Tune is one of the best rappers alive.

Before the interview wrapped up, Toya was asked if she would ever consider getting back with her ex-husband after he posted up a picture of her on his Instagram to which she revealed:

“I will say you never know what the future holds, but right now I just feel like it’s a no. He has a lot of growing up to do, he is still kinda like the Hot Boy Lil Wayne and I’m at a different place in my life. But I will support Wayne forever, that will never change because I’m his friend first.”

Birdman Says Lil Wayne Is Doing Much Better After Seizure, Confirms The Cause Was Not From Drugs

Birdman just called into Hot 97 to speak with Angie Martinez about the status of Lil Wayne‘s health. The YMCMB boss says Weezy F Baby is doing much better and he should be released from hospital on Wednesday. He confirms that there was no truth to TMZ posting what they did about Wayne being in a coma and overdosing on syrup.

Baby also tells the story of Tunechi having the seizure, because it happened right in front of him while they were shooting the “Tapout” music video. He explained that they had to lay Weezy down and put him in an ambulance as soon as possible, so they could contain and relax him. Birdman mentions that Tune suffered from the seizure on Tuesday night and has been in the hospital since then without leaving. He thinks the cause of the seizure was from hard work and lack of rest.
