Lil Wayne To Perform Live At Pharrell 2023 Something In The Water Festival

Lil Wayne has been announced as a live performer for Pharrell‘s annual “Something In The Water” music festival that is being presented by Walmart.

The three-day event will take place at Virginia Beach in Virginia from April 28th (Friday) to April 30th (Sunday). YouTube will be live-streaming the full festival. You can purchase your tickets for the show online here.

Lil Wayne To Headline The 2023 Rolling Loud Music Festival In Los Angeles

Lil Wayne is back as a “special guest” headliner for the 2023 Rolling Loud music festival in Los Angeles, California.

This year’s festival will be returning to L.A. between March 3rd – 5th at the Hollywood Park in Inglewood (part of SoFi Stadium) for the first time since 2019.

As well as Weezy, there will also be live performances from Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Future, Kodak Black, Tyga, Trippie Redd, Mellow Rackz, DaBaby, Saweetie, Fivio Foreign, Soulja Boy, Rich The Kid, Lil Baby, 2 Chainz, Kevin Gates, Lil Yachty, City Girls, Chief Keef, Lil Uzi Vert, Tory Lanez, Polo G, Moneybagg Yo, and many more.

Rick Ross, G-Eazy, Meek Mill, Lil Dicky, Chief Keef & More Rappers React To Lil Wayne Tha Carter V Album

Plenty of rappers from the hip-hop world took to social media to share how happy they are that Lil Wayne has now released his long-awaited album, Tha Carter V.

The list of rap artists who wrote about C5 on their Twitter and Instagram pages included: Rick Ross, Drake, Ace Hood, Tyga, The Game, T.I., Chief Keef, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, and 2 Chainz.

There were also a few stand out tweets from G-Eazy: “C fucking 5 wow”, Lil Dicky: “Lil Wayne is so goddamn good at rapping. I don’t know who is a better rapper”, and Lil Yachty: “Oh my God, Carter 5 is insane, amazing”.

Remember back in 2013 when Lil Wayne appeared on a “Mean Tweets” segment during Jimmy Kimmel Live and was called a crabapple? Well, Wayne has now appeared on a new hip-hop edition of “Mean Tweets”.

During Thursday evening’s (August 9th) episode of Jimmy Kimmel, the Young Money founder read another terrible tweet about him on social media: “Lil Wayne is what happens what when you pour Four Loko on a gremlin.”

As well as Weezy, this new “Mean Tweets” skit also included 50 Cent, A$AP Rocky, Eve, Pusha T, Big Sean, Remy Ma, Rae Sremmurd, Anderson .Paak, DJ Khaled, Trippie Redd, Tyler The Creator, Logic, Awkwafina, Lil Yachty, Wale, Ty Dolla $ign, Yo Gotti, and T-Pain reading out hate tweets about themselves.
