Lil Wayne Says The White Cop Who Saved His Life Is Also The Same Person Who Locked Up His Father Birdman For Years

Yesterday, Lil Wayne joined Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe as a special guest on their UNDISPUTED sports talk TV show.

While on the show, Tunechi told the story once more about how a white cop he calls Uncle Bob saved his life when he shot himself over mental health issues whereas the black cops all jumped over him looking for the gun. Tune then went on to say that the same white cop Uncle Bob was the one who arrested his “father” Birdman and put him in jail for years.

Lil Wayne Talks Officiating A Gay Wedding, Drake Telling Him Some Bad News & More While In Prison

In just over 2 weeks on October 11th, Lil Wayne will have released his “Gone ‘Til November: A Journal of Rikers Island” book through Plume (a division of Penguin Group).

A few excerpts (check them out below) from the memoir have surfaced online, courtesy of Page Six, that include Tunechi explaining some of the things he got up to while being locked up in the New York prison for 8 months back in 2010 for gun charges.

Weezy revealed he officiated a gay wedding for two of his fellow inmates, helped decorate the service with toilet paper, and toasted the happy couple with Gatorade. He also mentioned Drake came to see him to let him know he had slept with his girlfriend Tammy Torres, there were 2 female officers suspended for coming to see him, requested one of his girlfriends to visit him wearing no underwear, he watched “American Idol” to pass time, wrote a new album, and more!

Last month, Birdman and Young Thug were both named in an indictment alleging that they were involved in the shooting of Lil Wayne‘s tour bus outside of Compound nightclub in Atlanta on April 25th.

A couple of weeks later, Baby then mentioned in an interview with Angie Martinez that he had nothing to do with the shooting and that he would never try to kill Weezy, because that’s his “son”.

Now according to TMZ, the alleged shooter Jimmy Carlton Winfrey aka Peewee Roscoe has named Birdman in new court documents saying that Baby should be held responsible for the crime, as well as that he should be locked up behind bars too!

Lil Wayne Will Release A Book This Year About His Time In Prison

On November 28th this year, Lil Wayne will release a memoir titled “Gone Till November” through Grand Central Publishing (a division of Hachette Book Group). The book will detail Weezy‘s experience in jail and show the diaries that Wayne wrote while locked up behind bars in 2010 for 8 months. Also included in the journals will be Tune‘s thoughts and feelings, the people he met, his plans, his family, his children, his past and his future.

“We are thrilled to be publishing Wayne’s prison memoir,” said Ben Greenberg, executive editor at Grand Central Publishing. “He kept detailed journals of his inner and outer life while he was on Rikers Island, and they certainly tell a story. They are revealing.”
