Lil Wayne Announces 5th Annual Lil Weezyana Fest In New Orleans, Reveals Lineup

The 5th annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” has been announced and like the past 4 music festivals, it will be taking place in Lil Wayne‘s hometown New Orleans, Louisiana. However, the music venue has changed from Champions Square to the University Of New Orleans Lakefront Arena as Wayne wants to try and double the attendance numbers from last year.

This year’s concert, which is being presented by radio station Q93 and Live Nation Urban, will take place on September 7th and include live performances from Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Trey Songz, Kash Doll, Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie, Melii, Leven Kali, Akbar V, and more. If it’s based on the previous shows, there will be plenty of special guests making an appearance too.

If you wish to attend the 2019 “Lil Weezyana Fest“, the VIP presale will begin tomorrow (May 29th) on Ticketmaster and general sale tickets will begin this Friday (May 31st) from 10AM. Weezy‘s annual homecoming festival will also give back to the local community as $0.50 of every ticket sold will be donated to support educational groups for the the youth in N.O. Last year, Tune celebrated the 10th anniversary of Tha Carter III, brought out Birdman to make a public apology, and spat a brand new freestyle!
