Lil Wayne Meets Colby Covington + Jams Out To Seeing Green & Bill Gates At LIV

On Sunday, August 14th, Lil Wayne hosted an event at LIV nightclub in Miami, Florida for “LIV on Sunday’s”.

While at the club, Wayne was spotted greeting mixed martial artist Colby Covington, who we already know is a big fan of the rapper.

Weezy also performed his “Steady Mobbin’” single live, as well as jammed out to “Bill Gates” and “Seeing Green” with DJ Scoob Doo, Mack Maine, Allan Cubas, and Gudda Gudda.

If you didn’t already know, one of the songs Lil Wayne and Rich The Kid remixed on Side B of No Ceilings 3 was BRS Kash‘s “Throat Baby“.

In a recent interview with HipHopDX, the Atlanta rapper addressed Wayne remixing his song for his mixtape by saying he grew up on the No Ceilings and Dedication tapes.

Kash also revealed he stopped everything he was doing when he first found out Tunechi had freestyled over “Throat Baby“, as well as mentioned he has not yet met Tune in person, but hopes to soon as he is an inspiration to him!

Here is a very random and interesting video that got recommend to one of the users from the LilWayneHQ forum on YouTube recently about 2 guys meeting Lil Wayne‘s son, Dwayne Michael Carter III, on the free online chat website Omegle.

In the video, DMC III shows off a little bit of his father’s house, says Wayne isn’t with him and his brother Neal in the crib as he is currently in the studio working, and discusses meeting other music artists such as Drake, Chris Brown, Teyana Taylor, Fabolous, Jacquees, and Lil Uzi Vert.

The 12-year-old also mentioned how often he see’s his pops (when he gets breaks from school) and drops the news that Breezy was at Weezy‘s studio the other day, so could they have a possible collaboration on the way? Check out the Omegle chat below!

During their 28-minute conversation, Tunechi spoke on what age he first started rapping, shooting himself by accident, a white police officer named Uncle Bob who was off duty saving his life, meeting him years later in a restaurant, and what he thinks about the horrible murder of George Floyd by four cops in Minneapolis.

Weezy also discussed being locked up in Rikers Island for 8 months, getting his “never quit” attitude and drive from Birdman at a young age, his influence being the #1 Stunna, putting Drake and Nicki Minaj on, what he taught his son Kameron Carter after Nipsey Hussle was murdered, how proud he is about influencing a whole new generation of rap, an upcoming collaboration he has with Lil Uzi Vert, being the first to do the “rock-rap” genre of music, attending the late Betty Wright‘s funeral, performing “Sweet Home Alabama” with Kid Rock at the Country Music Association Awards, and much more!
