At the 3:55 mark of their conversation, Turk reveals how all of the Hot Boys first met (himself, Lil Wayne, Juvenile and B.G.), as well as how there were originally 5 of them before Lil Derrick aka Bulletproof was killed.

The YNT founder also explains why Tunechi is the G.O.A.T. (it is due to him being a part of every generation), when exactly he knew that Tune was different from a young age, and how he felt after Weezy referenced him on the “My Homies Still” single while he was incarcerated!

Baby E Talks Working With Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, Not Being Treated Well From The Other Young Money Artists & More

Baby E recently participated in a Q&A (question and answer) session with a Lil Wayne Discord server that you can read in full below.

During their conversation, E discussed a possible collaboration album from himself and Wayne, how a lot of the stuff announced from the Young Money camp is actually all talk, what Weezy is like as a person (says he is very chill but “got a temper from hell though… seem him break a bunch of sh*t), and much more.

The “Finessin” singer also revealed he has at least 10 unreleased songs with Tunechi, a funny story involving FaceTime and Tune (“this real enough for you whiteboy?”), what a Young Mula studio session is really like, his favorite Lil Wayne songs, and how he was not treated well from the other YM artists. He also mentioned that Wayne and Kevin Gates do not have beef, but they are definitely not cool with each other!

I have decided to share scans from Lil Wayne‘s cover story for the 1998 Hot Boys issue of Murder Dog magazine for #ThrowbackThursday today.

In his interview, Weezy spoke on Cash Money Records, the Hot Boys, what makes each of the members unique, joining B.G. aka Lil Doogie when he was going by the name of Baby D to create The B.G.z group, their True Story album, and leaving The B.G.z by his mother Cita’s request after he shot himself.

Tune also talked about Lil Slim bringing him to Cash Money, his debut solo studio album Tha Block Is Hot, what made him want to first start rapping, New Orleans, school, his daughter Reginae Carter, having a song called “Fuck The World” even though this was a time when he didn’t curse in his music, losing his daddy Rabbit to some haters, how everything changed for him when Rabbit died, and much more!

In other news, Jay Z’s streaming service TIDAL have confirmed that they will be live streaming Tunechi‘s 2nd annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” on August 27th from 7:30PM CT, so if you can’t make it to New Orleans this Saturday, you will still be able to watch the concert online!
