Bijan Amir sat down with Splice earlier this month for an interview all about how he got started and production advice.

The producer revealed it was Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter III album that first got him into producing and inspired him to learn more about creating beats.

He also talked about how much of a “surreal” and “cool” moment it was to work with Wayne on Funeral by producing the “Bing James” beat featuring Jay Rock. Check out Bijan‘s full conversation below!

Jack Harlow recently chopped it up with Big Reid from 99.7 NOW (San Francisco radio station) on Skype for an interview, which you can check out below.

During their conversation at the 3:40 mark, Jack was asked how it was to get Lil Wayne on the remix to his “What’s Poppin” single, and he answered by saying it’s validating, a bucket list moment and something he has always dreamed about.

The Louisville rapper also revealed it was DJ Drama who put the “What’s Poppin” remix together and explained how all of the moments he has had with Wayne so far have been crazy, such as first meeting him and being interviewed on Young Money Radio last month!

During episode 2 of “Young Money Radio” last night, one of the special guests that called in to speak with Lil Wayne was none other than Drake.

They spoke about Drizzy‘s father Dennis Graham, his son Adonis who Wayne says he can’t wait to meet, Tunechi‘s boys Facetiming celebrity females, the new Dark Lane Demo Tapes project, and how a lot of Tune‘s music got leaked from getting his car washed. The two of them also recalled the night Weezy played “Lollipop” for Drake and the late Kobe Bryant on his tour bus while getting angel wings tattooed.

Towards the end of their conversation, Drizzy Drake revealed him and Wayne will have another collaboration on the way as he is sending over some new music “by mid-week or maybe Monday night”! I wonder if this could appear on the deluxe edition of Funeral, or the 6 God album that is dropping in the summer of this year?

During their interview, Tunechi spoke about how beautiful it is to look back at his albums when he has finished recording them and to see the rewarding results. However, Tune did say that when the projects have been released to the world, he has already began to move on and he even has 20 more albums in his back pocket ready to drop.
