Organizers For Rolling Loud Explain Why Lil Wayne Cancelled His Set At The Miami Music Festival

As we know, Lil Wayne was a no-show at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on May 13th for this year’s Rolling Loud music festival, which he was a headliner for.

A lot of people thought Tunechi didn’t want to turn up to the show as there was bad weather and he attended LIV on that same evening, but organizers for Rolling Loud have confirmed the reason that Tune didn’t show up was because he “fell unexpectedly ill”.

You can read the full statement and also see what Weezy had to say about not taking the stage on Sunday after the jump below!

Lil Wayne Cancels His Live Performance At The SummerFall Concert In Curacao

Lil Wayne was due to headline the 2016 SummerFall concert at Stadion Ergilio Hato aka Sentro Deportivo Korsou (SDK) in Willemstad, Curacao last night with Rick Ross, French Montana, Meek Mill, Yo Gotti, August Alsina, Fat Joe, and Jeremih.

However, Wayne cancelled his appearance and performance, but there doesn’t seem to be any exact confirmation as to why. According to TMZ, reps for Tunechi have told them he didn’t show up because of a breach of contract and promoters for the show are saying that they did everything right with the contract and Tune didn’t turn up because he suffered from a seizure on Friday evening.

Hopefully it all gets cleared up and we find out soon why Weezy didn’t end up performing live at this year’s SummerFall concert in Curacao!

Lil Wayne Loses Quincy Jones III Lawsuit & Has To Pay Him Over $2 Million

Lil Wayne Loses Quincy Jones III Lawsuit & Has To Pay Him Over $2 Million

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne just lost his lawsuit against Quincy Jones III over “The Carter Documentary”, as well as the countersuit Quincy filed against him.

Weezy filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones III earlier this year claiming that he never gave him permission to use music off his Tha Carter III album for the documentary that Quincy put out called “The Carter“. Quincy also filed a countersuit against Wayne saying that he screwed up the potential profit of the documentary by withdrawing his support for it.

Due to suffering from two seizures, Tunechi did not make an appearance in court for his trial on the day he was supposed to. This then meant Tune‘s lawyer had to show the jury Wayne‘s deposition videotape with Quincy‘s lawyer, Pete Ross, and you all know how serious he took that!

The jury called Lil Wayne‘s behavior in the deposition tape “unreasonable” and “irresponsible”, and also ordered him to pay Quincy $2,195,000. Damn!

Lil Wayne & Drake Refuse To Pay 400,000 In Lawsuit x Weezy Watches Celtics vs Heat Game

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne and Drake are being sued for $432,337.50 by Imperial Entertainment Group for not turning up to a club appearance back in 2011. Weezy and Drizzy are both refusing to pay the money, which the judge ordered them to do so, because they say they were never told about the event and never signed any official contracts about it.

They also say that Imperial Entertainment Group used a third party, Melanzh Enterprises, to book them but that party had no authority to do so. The two rappers are currently asking the court to dismiss the judgement. You can read more info about the lawsuit after the jump below.

Also after the jump, I have added another photo of Tune watching the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat game court-side at the American Airlines Arena in Florida from last night (May 28th).
