After “Successful“, “HYFR“, “The Motto“, and “Forever” all received new certifications on June 29th, another Drake and Lil Wayne collaboration also earned a new certification from the Recording Industry Association of America on this date.

The RIAA have confirmed Drizzy‘s “Miss Me” single featuring Wayne, which appears on Thank Me Later, has been certified Platinum aka been purchased and streamed over 1,000,000 times since first being released on June 1st, 2010.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Drake‘s “Successful” single featuring Lil Wayne and Trey Songz went Platinum on June 29th.

This means that the Noah “40” Shebib-produced collaboration, which appears on Drizzy‘s So Far Gone EP, has been streamed and bought over 1,000,000 times since it was first released on September 15th, 2009.

Congratulations to Drizzy, Weezy, Trey, and 40 on this amazing achievement!

Anthony Gordon from Avid recently chopped it up with producer Noah “40” Shebib at his new studio in Toronto, Canada for an interview.

During their conversation, 40 spoke on producing Lil Wayne‘s “I’m Single” song off both I Am Not A Human Being and No Ceilings, how Wayne ended up taking the beat from Drake 2 weeks after telling Drake he wasn’t feeling it at first, and plenty more.

Mixtape time! Young Money artist Stephanie Acevedo was recently in the studio with Lil Wayne while he was recording over Drake‘s “Back To Back” instrumental.

Steph has shared a small clip on her Snapchat of Weezy in the studio booth with his “Back To Back” freestyle playing in the background.

Lil Wayne and Drake attended Cameo nightclub in Cincinnati, Ohio for their official tour after-party on August 15th. They both partied in VIP with Lil Twist, Fee Banks, Noah “40” Shebib, Majid Al Maskati, Sirr Bandcamp Wooda, and model Deelishis.
