Lil Wayne Chats To Dr Fauci, Dr Dre, Kevin Hart, Tory Lanez, Benny The Butcher & Conway The Machine For Episode 6 Of Young Money Radio

Episode 6 of Lil Wayne‘s “Young Money Radio” show took place on May 29th on Apple Music and for this week’s guests, he had Dr. Anthony Fauci (Head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases), Dr. Dre, Kevin Hart, Tory Lanez, and Griselda’s Benny The Butcher and Conway The Machine.

At the start of this week’s radio show, Tunechi paid tribute to George Floyd, who was murdered by cops in Minneapolis, and sent condolences to his family. Tune also revealed he will be releasing music videos for the deluxe edition of his Funeral album soon and as it is currently Mental Health Awareness Week, he shared a story of how he shot himself as a kid just so he could be heard as no one ever listened to him.

For interviews with his special guests, Weezy chatted to Dr. Fauci all about COVID-19, Larry Kramer, aids and more. He chopped it up with Dr. Dre about why he named his album 2001 when it was released in 1999, both being big fans of Anderson .Paak, how he balances his personal life and work, Kobe Bryant, and shares his thoughts on the horrible situation of George Floyd, which nearly made him not appear on “YM Radio” as he says it didn’t feel right.

Lil Wayne then spoke with Kevin Hart about the recent situation in Minneapolis, his new book “The Decision”, how he is doing after his car accident, and more. Before the episode came to an end, Wayne talked with a few of the features on his new Funeral deluxe album – Tory Lanez, Benny The Butcher and Conway The Machine. While at the event, Weezy was pictured with a few new tattoos on his face – one of these looks like it reads “BOB” for Uncle Bob (the police officer who saved his life) and another looks like it is a map of the Africa continent.

Blink-182 Explain Why Lil Wayne Walked Off Stage & Missed Out On A Show Completely From Their Joint Tour [Video]

Blink-182 Explain Why Lil Wayne Walked Off Stage & Missed Out On A Show Completely From Their Joint Tour

Blink-182 recently paid a visit to the Kevin & Bean morning show on KROQ-FM for an interview to promote their upcoming Halloween tour.

During their conversation at the 5:00 mark, the rock band was asked how much of a nightmare it was to tour with Lil Wayne before they made it clear that it was not a nightmare, as well as that Wayne is “awesome”, “solid” and “such a professional”.

Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Matt Skiba even revealed that Tunechi only walked off stage in Virginia because he felt like the crowd did not like him and were only there to see 182, and so he wanted to give them what they wanted. They also mentioned that Tune missed out on the Missouri show, because the cops were trying to catch him for smoking weed and so he left the city to protect himself and his freedom!

Lil Wayne Cancels His 2019 Rolling Loud Festival Set After Refusing To Be Searched By Police

Lil Wayne Cancels His 2019 Rolling Loud Festival Set After Refusing To Be Searched By Police

As we know, Lil Wayne was due to headline the 2019 Rolling Loud music festival at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida last night (May 11th).

However, when Wayne got to the venue, he decided to cancel his performance as he did not want to be searched by the police:

“To all my fans who came to see me at Rolling Loud, I’m sorry but I won’t be performing. The Festival Police (Not Rolling Loud) made it mandatory that I had to be policed and checked to get on the stadium grounds. I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job and give you guys a great show. I will be at Story tonight for the afterparty and you kan katch me on tour with my bros Blink 182 this summer!”

I do not know if Tunechi got news of Kodak Black getting searched and arrested for weapon charges earlier on in the day by the festival police and it made Tune decide to not go through with the mandatory search, or if he is just sticking to what he said on the “Do’s And Dont’s Of Young Money” skit off Dedication 3:

“I hate… don’t check, don’t you ask to check nothing of mine; If I’m coming into your place of business and you scheduled for me to be there; Bitch, I don’t have to be there; I have a very nice home, ya understand? And boy look here, just don’t be tryna check me dude; I ain’t tryna steal or hurt nobody in none of them places; I’m rich as a motherfucker and that’s the last thing I want, a confrontation or a problem; I am trying, I am; Son, don’t check me.”

Juelz Santana Talks “After Disaster”, Unreleased Music With Lil Wayne, “I Can’t Feel My Face” & More [Video]

Juelz Santana Talks After Disaster, Unreleased Music With Lil Wayne, I Cant Feel My Face & More

Juelz Santana recently sat down for a live interview with Complex on their “The Music Show”. Around the 23:00 mark, Juelz recalled the story of when the police raided his studio and took his hard drive. He says there was about 100 unreleased songs erased from the hard drive when he finally got it back including 20 collaborations with Lil Wayne as they must of recorded about 60.

“When the police raided my studio, I had about 100 records. I had my hard drive back I had nothing. Shit was erased. I think I got a couple more records left for Wayne we didn’t put out from that time but a lot of records were on that hard drive.”

Santana did mention that Tunechi may still have the tracks on his hard drive, because they worked back and forth by sending each other verses. He even mentioned that him and Tune are still close like brothers and if they really wanted to, they could release a joint project right now.

Before the conversation wrapped up, Juelz even spoke a little bit about his and Weezy‘s “After Disaster” collabo and revealed that their I Can’t Feel My Face project never dropped, because back in the days there was just too many politics with labels. For a little bit of hope, he says there aren’t that many label politics anymore if they did want to drop ICFMF.

You can watch the full interview after the jump below. Santana also told a story about Lil Wayne to show just how much of a real rapper he is and how crazy his work ethic is. This story was on the night after finding out his Tha Carter III album had gone Platinum in one week, Juelz sent him 3 songs and Wayne sent them all back on the same night!
