Attorney Bradford Cohen Reveals To Fat Joe How Long Lil Wayne Would Of Been Looking At In Jail If He Didnt Receive A Pardon

Before Donald Trump pardoned Lil Wayne just over a week ago, Fat Joe had special guest Bradford Cohen, who is the attorney for both Wayne and Kodak Black, on his “The Fat Joe Show”.

During their 45-minute conversation, Cohen revealed how he linked up with Tunechi after knowing him for a very long time, if he had actually spoke to Trump‘s team about pardoning Tune and Kodak, and much more.

The criminal defense lawyer also mentioned that Weezy would have been looking at 18-24 months behind bars in prison if he did not receive a pardon from the 45th president of the USA. You can check out their full convo after the jump below!

Donald Trump Has Officially Pardoned Lil Wayne

Donald Trump Has Officially Pardoned Lil Wayne

The news we have all been waiting for! On the final day before he has to leave office, Donald Trump has pardoned Lil Wayne.

This means Wayne will not have to serve time behind bars after pleading guilty to a gun possession by a convicted felon charge at the end of 2020.

If you are not aware, Tunechi was caught illegally carrying a gold-plated .45-caliber Glock handgun in his luggage on his private jet on December 23rd, 2019.

I wonder if this pardon has anything to do with Weezy and the President of the United States of America’s “great meeting” about criminal reform and the Platinum Plan?

Lil Wayne’s Gun Charge Sentencing Has Been Pushed Back

Lil Wayne Gun Charge Sentencing Has Been Pushed Back

It looks like Lil Wayne will have to wait a couple of months before he is sentenced for illegally carrying a gun on his private jet at the end of 2019.

According to AllHipHop, Wayne‘s attorney Howard Srebnick has claimed the January 28th sentencing date given at the virtual court hearing just over a week ago was too ambitious.

The lawyer has been successful in submitting a new request to the United States District Court for the Southern District Of Florida asking for Tunechi‘s sentencing date to be pushed back to early March.

Tune could face up to 10-years behind bars for his gun possession by a convicted felon charge, but there is a possibility of a reduced sentence, due to him pleading guilty.

Even though there has not been a date confirmed by the judge as of right now, Howard has suggested that Weezy should be sentenced on the afternoon of either March 2nd, 4th, 9th, or the 11th. I will update this post when the date gets confirmed! The new sentence date is March 4th!

Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty To Federal Firearm Charge; Faces Up To 10 Years In Prison

Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty To Federal Firearm Charge - Faces Up To 10 Years In Prison

After finding out last month Lil Wayne had been charged for carrying a gold-plated .45-caliber Glock handgun in his luggage on his private jet that he claimed was a Father’s Day gift on December 23rd, 2019, Wayne had his first court appearance yesterday.

Tunechi pleaded guilty to the gun possession by a convicted felon charge by telling the judge over a virtual hearing in a Miami federal court: “Your honor, I plead guilty”.

The sentencing for Weezy is scheduled for next month on January 28th, 2021 and unfortunately, he faces up to 10 years in prison, due to having a previous gun charge from over 10 years ago. However, the punishment may not be as harsh as that after taking responsibility!
