Cordae sits down with Genius on their “Verified” series to talk all about his “Sinister” single featuring Lil Wayne that has been streamed over 14 million times to date on Spotify.

During their interview, which you can watch below, Cordae explained how the Tunechi feature on “Sinister” came about from Tune telling him to send him “something” as he has “got him”.

The North Carolina artist then mentioned Weezy sent his verse back over the Hit-Boy production in less than 12 hours and revealed how he reacted to first hearing the vocals, especially the lighter flick!

Rick Ross, G-Eazy, Meek Mill, Lil Dicky, Chief Keef & More Rappers React To Lil Wayne Tha Carter V Album

Plenty of rappers from the hip-hop world took to social media to share how happy they are that Lil Wayne has now released his long-awaited album, Tha Carter V.

The list of rap artists who wrote about C5 on their Twitter and Instagram pages included: Rick Ross, Drake, Ace Hood, Tyga, The Game, T.I., Chief Keef, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, and 2 Chainz.

There were also a few stand out tweets from G-Eazy: “C fucking 5 wow”, Lil Dicky: “Lil Wayne is so goddamn good at rapping. I don’t know who is a better rapper”, and Lil Yachty: “Oh my God, Carter 5 is insane, amazing”.

Lil Wayne took to social media to praise and compliment his Young Money artist Nicki Minaj on the release of her latest album, Queen.

In a recorded video, Weezy congratulated Nicki, called Queen one of the best albums ever, and wished the “Barbie Dreams” songs was dedicated to him.

Over the weekend, LeBron James announced he will be leaving Cleveland Cavaliers and joining the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team.

As Bron will be making the switch, Lil Wayne took to Twitter to say he will be doing the exact same as he will have to buy a new crib in L.A. now that the “King” is moving there:

“Dam I gotta get a krib in LA now and I even really feel like spending like that right now but fugg it it’s the King.”

This shows how Wayne now respects the NBA player after he once shouted “fuck LeBron” at a nightclub back in 2013! However, he has since then created a tribute song for James titled “Off, Off, Off“!

Last night (May 16th), Lil Wayne attended Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas to watch Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets.

Before the game for charity, Tunechi signed the basketball and took the “First Shot”, but unfortunately he missed it.
