MSNBC Recite Lil Wayne Lyrics In Their This Is Who We Are Ad

MSNBC have released a new “This Is Who We Are.” ad and it includes journalists Ali Velshi and Ari Melber reciting Lil Wayne lyrics.

The commercial for the American television network, which you can check out below, includes the journalists citing Weezy‘s “Krazy” and “Mrs. Officer” tracks.

This is not the first time that Ari has referenced Tunechi lyrics on TV as 2 years ago, he also quoted Tune to attack the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and his greed!

The Chicago rapper announced Lil Wayne‘s verse on “Dear Summer“, which can be found on The Suffix mixtape, is his fav before he then recited it.

During the conversation, Purp also discussed how he felt hearing Wayne rap about Hurricane Katrina, his brother burning it to a disc for him in the 6th grade, listening to the song all the time, and more.

G Herbo Breaks Down & Recites His Favorite Verse Ever - Lil Wayne Ride For My Niggas

Back in 2016, G Herbo revealed his favorite ever verse in hip-hop belonged to Lil Wayne on his “Hot Shit” collaboration with Juelz Santana. However, he recently appeared on Pitchfork‘s “VERSES” series and announced that his favorite verse has now changed to be Wayne‘s “Ride For My Niggas” aka “Sky Is The Limit“.

The Chicago rapper then went on to break down the wordplay and recite the Da Drought 3 song, which is a remix over Mike Jones’ “Mr. Jones” beat. Herb mentioned that the lyrics still give him chills to this day and not many tracks do that to him, as well as recalled the first time he heard it.
