Lil Wayne Teases A “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” Part 2 Tour [Video]

Lil Wayne Teases A Drake vs Lil Wayne Part 2 Tour

Back in 2014, Lil Wayne and Drake went on a joint tour across the United States of America and funnily enough, it ended in a tie at 17-17 each, and so they always said that they would do a sequel of the tour to find a winner once and for all.

On the final stop of Drizzy‘s “Aubrey And The Three Migos” tour last week, a video of Tunechi congratulating his Young Mula artist played on the big screen for everyone in attendance and during his message, Tune hinted at another “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” tour:

“Champagne, wassup man? Congratulations on your tour… you a bad motherfucker. Much success, much love… much credit, all due, all well deserved, you earned it all bro. I can’t wait to get back on that stage and we do our own tour again. “Drake vs. Tune, Wayne”… whatever you wanna call it. You will never win, you never do. Congratulations!”

You can watch Weezy‘s message for the 6 God after the jump below. I wonder if this could be anything to do with the upcoming musical collection from the Young Money and OVO family?!

Matti Baybee Says He Wants To See A Biopic On Lil Wayne [Video]

Matti Baybee Says He Wants To See A Biopic On Lil Wayne

Matti Baybee and Lil Mouse recently sat down with DJ Smallz for an interview about the NWA biopic “Straight Outta Compton” and the possible sequel for the movie.

At the end of the conversation, the two Chicago rappers were asked who they would love to see a biographical film made on to which Matti mentioned he would like to see a Lil Wayne biopic.

Babybee did also say that he doesn’t feel like it’s time for one just yet as biopics need to be made when the person stops working and hopefully Weezy is not close to retiring!

You can watch the interview in a video after the jump below. Who else would love to see a Tunechi biopic created?

Lil Wayne’s “No Ceilings” Mixtape Turns 6 Years Old Today, Is There A Sequel On The Way?

Lil Wayne No Ceilings Mixtape Turns 6 Years Old Today, Is There A Sequel On The Way

6-years ago on this day aka Halloween, Lil Wayne released his No Ceilings mixtape, which I think everyone would agree on was a classic! Like myself, I’m sure any other Weezy fan still plays this tape every so often as the music on it can never get old.

What’s crazy is that we could possibly be seeing a sequel to No Ceilings, because not long after we found out Tunechi was recording a freestyle over Drake’s “Back To Back” beat, Mack Maine retweeted a fan on Twitter who tweeted: “hope we get a no ceilings 2”.

Of course this could be a huge reach, but I think it’s fair to say that Tune is definitely working on a new mixtape as he has already started recording remixes and he still can’t release music for fans to buy as the Cash Money lawsuit is currently ongoing.

What do you Wayniacs think? Do you think we could see a No Ceilings 2 tape anytime soon? Possibly tonight for the anniversary? Or do you think the next Tune project will be Dedication 6, which DJ Drama did confirm would happen back in March this year?

Lil Wayne & Drake Hint At Doing A Sequel Of Their Joint Tour In 2015

The “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” tour came to an end on Saturday at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas and if you didn’t know, it ended in a tie which means the whole tour was a draw at 17-17.

As there was no winner, Weezy and Drizzy hinted to the crowd about doing a sequel of their joint tour next year after they both release their Tha Carter V and Views From The 6 albums, as well as start the first show in Houston picking up where they left off.

Lil Wayne Has Already Recorded 12 Songs For His Upcoming I Am Not A Human Being II Album

Last month, Mack Maine told us Lil Wayne is working on and plans to release a sequel to his rock album, Rebirth. Now, the Young Money President tells MTV that Tunechi is working on an I Am Not A Human Being album sequel and says Weezy is already 12 songs in.

“He’s, like, 12 songs in, and he went crazy. He went left. He’s in Martian land right now,” Mack said of I Am Not a Human Being 2.

According to the YM prez, each separate album franchise allows Wayne the chance to showcase different artistic sides. “He gets to show his rock side, he gets to show his gangsta side and talk to the women on one side,” Mack said of the Rebirth and Carter series, respectively. “On I Am Not a Human Being, he is definitely showing some weirdo, left-brain, I’m-not-from-here type side. He can say what he wants. There are no boundaries, there are no limits.”

However diverse he may be in the booth, when Wayne performs live, he is able to pool all his collective talents together — as well as their respective fans. “He captures all those different audiences, and then at a concert or a show, you bring all those different people together,” Mack explained. “You bring your Rebirth rock people, you bring your Carter people, and you bring your I Am Not a Human Being crowd, and you have a great show. That’s why we sell out arenas every night.”
