Jordan Garland Hangs Out & Skates With Lil Wayne In Detroit

After his concert at Little Caesars Arena on December 27th, Lil Wayne hit up Transitions Skatepark in Detroit, Michigan for a skateboarding session.

Wayne was joined at the skatepark by Jordan Garland, who also filmed the skating sesh for a vlog dubbed “Hanging Out With Lil Wayne”.

Jordan was the first person to ever film Weezy when he first started skating in 2011 and so it’s good to see how much he has improved in this new footage.

You can check out a behind the scenes look at the skateboarding sesh, as well as Garland chilling with Tunechi below. A huge shock is that Tune does not remember his “I’m On One” verse!

For their interview, Weezy spoke about being creative at rapping and skating, his skate crew, how he met them all, how excited he is to be headlining 2019 X Games in Aspen, fans, snowboarding, and more!

Lil Wayne Celebrates His 36th Birthday & Tha Carter V Album With A Goat, Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown, Ashanti, Trippie Redd, Wiz Khalifa & More

At midnight on September 27th until the early hours of September 28th, Lil Wayne celebrated his 36th birthday and the release of his Tha Carter V album with a party dubbed “Wayne’s World” at Hubble Studio in Los Angeles, California.

There were plenty of special guests at the soirée including Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown, Ashanti, Big Sean, Trippie Redd, Wiz Khalifa, Chevy Woods, Reginae Carter, Rae Sremmurd, Ray J, Timbaland, Shaggy, Draya Michele, Trey Songz, Tiffany Haddish, and his Young Money artists.

The event let guests eat traditional New Orleans food catered by Trap Kitchen, smoke marijuana, and show off their skateboarding skills on a skate ramp. There were also two goats in attendance at the party to pay tribute to the actual G.O.A.T. himself before he was presented with a three-tier birthday cake. Last night, Lil Wayne made an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to promote his new album, Tha Carter V.

During his sit-down interview, Weezy chatted to Jimmy Fallon about the nearly 5-year-long wait for C5‘s release, how he got into skateboarding, and studying his lyrics for his new songs as he doesn’t write them down.

Curren$y appeared on one of the latest episodes of Complex’s “Everyday Struggle” series to chop it up with DJ Akademiks and Nadeska.

During their conversation, Spitta revealed that he felt terrible seeing Lil Wayne go through his record label problems and because he is an independent artist himself, he knew how much of a “monster” Wayne could of been these past 4 years.

“From somebody who’s independent… I know how much of a monster he could be if he was doing it himself.”

The former Young Money artist also added that Tunechi has “gave his life” to skateboarding, mentioned Tune stays in the studio until 10:00AM, and answered “that’s all we do” when asked if they will ever work together again. Check out everything he said below!

Lil Wayne Cancels 2018 Panorama Music Festival Set, Heads To STORY Nightclub Wearing A Walking Brace

On July 28th, Lil Wayne was due to headline the 2018 Panorama Music Festival at Randall’s Island Park in New York City, but he had to cancel last minute as his flight was delayed because of the weather conditions.

“New York! Panorama! Due to mother nature I was delayed & wont make it. Kant wait to kome bak and rokk with my NY fans asap”

After not being able to travel to New York, Weezy decided to head to STORY Nightclub in Miami, Florida to help celebrate Mack Maine‘s 36th birthday with Gudda Gudda, 2 Chainz, Stephanie Acevedo, and more.

You can check out some more photos of Tunechi at the club below. In one of the pics, Tune can be seen wearing a foot brace, so you would presume that he has suffered an ankle injury while skateboarding!
