Drake & Lil Wayne’s “Successful”, “Ignorant Shit”, “Unstoppable Remix” & “Uptown” Are Now Available On All Streaming Platforms

Drake & Lil Wayne Successful, Ignorant Shit, Unstoppable Remix & Uptown Are Now Available On All Streaming Platforms

Last night at midnight, Drake released his So Far Gone project to all streaming platforms to celebrate it’s 10-year anniversary on February 13th.

As you should already know, the project includes four dope collaborations with his Young Money boss Lil Wayne – “Successful” (also with Trey Songz), “Ignorant Shit“, “Unstoppable Remix” (also with Santigold aka Santogold), and “Uptown” (also with Bun B).

However, for a currently unknown reason, Tunechi does not appear on the outro of “Congratulations” anymore. Drizzy also praised Tune during his SFG thank you post on Instagram by writing: “a decade ago you took me out of Toronto and gave me the biggest blessing anybody has ever given me”.

You can find the four 6 God and Weezy collabos off So Far Gone on all music streaming services after the jump below! Do you still play these frequently?

Drake Successful Collaboration With Lil Wayne & Trey Songz Is Now Platinum

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Drake‘s “Successful” single featuring Lil Wayne and Trey Songz went Platinum on June 29th.

This means that the Noah “40” Shebib-produced collaboration, which appears on Drizzy‘s So Far Gone EP, has been streamed and bought over 1,000,000 times since it was first released on September 15th, 2009.

Congratulations to Drizzy, Weezy, Trey, and 40 on this amazing achievement!

Cash Money Records Merging With Warner Music Group? + Fabolous Inspired By No Ceilings

Cash Money Records Merging With Warner Music Group + Fabolous Inspired By No Ceilings

If worked right, this merge could be HUGE! Last week while Baby and Wayne paid a visit to a Manhattan courthouse for Wayne’s gun case (he’ll be sentenced Feb. 9th), they also paid visit to Warner Music Group’s HQ’s.

Details are extremely sketchy at this point, but an EXTREMELY reliable source confirmed with me that a “secret secret hush hush* meeting occurred with several major big wigs from both parties (Oh hai Lyor Cohen & Brian Williams).

While nothing’s been solidified in regards to logistics to this ground breaking venture, possibilities of future collaborations and ish of that nature are hatching as we speak. A merger of the sort could combine the forces of every conglomerate under the respective umbrellas of WMG and Cash Money Records.

This includes Atlantic Records Group (Lupe’s 1st & 15th Entertainment, T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records, Maino’s Hustle Hard imprint) Warner Brothers Records Inc (Asylum Records- Gucci Mane lives here, Warner Bros. Records, Blacksmith Records) and a bevy of other imprints.

And then you have to think of all the subsidiary labels under those major labels. Get my drift?

A quick note before I get out of here: Gee Roberson (the founder of the management empire, Hip Hop Since 1978) co-manages Lil Wayne and Drake- two actives players under the Cash Money/Young Money umbrella.

Gee also still serves as the president under Atlantic Records’ Urban Division. Put the pieces together, enjoy some egg nog and let’s merge some theories of what this could turn into for 2010. Cool?

Shouts to BET, and this would be BIIIGGG if it turns out to be true! Hit the jump to see some more updates including 40 Cock and Fabolous:

Lil Wayne & Drake Are Shooting An “I’m Going In” Music Video

Lil Wayne & Drake Are Shooting An I'm Going In Music Video

Just before Drake goes in for knee surgery, he will shoot a music video for his single “I’m Going In” featuring Lil Wayne, which will be on the re-release of So Far Gone.

Lil Wayne and Drizzy are set to shoot the music video this month in Buffalo, New York. They also have a concert nearby on August 27 in Darien Center, but I am not sure if Drake will be performing that night.

I am also not sure if Young Jeezy will be joining them in the video either, because on the re-release of Drake‘s So Far Gone which is in stores September 15th the song only features Lil Wayne on the tracklist. This might mean Drake has added an extra verse to the track or the song is just cut shorter. You can see the covers of the upcoming re-release of So Far Gone here.

Anyone else excited ❓ 😀
