Lil Wayne Ties Jay-Z’s “Hot 100” Top 10 Record After “Loyal” Reaches #9 On The Billboard Chart

Lil Wayne Ties Jay-Z Hot 100 Top 10 Record After Loyal Reaches 9 On The Billboard Chart

This week, Chris Brown’s “Loyal” single featuring Lil Wayne and Tyga has moved up to the #9 spot on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart. This makes it Tunechi‘s 19th song that has appeared in the “Hot 100” top 10 list since he began his music career.

Only Jay-Z has scored more top 10s than Wayne on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart with a total of 21. However, Young Money as a group have also had two singles appear in the “Hot 100” top 10 list (“Every Girl” and “Bed Rock”), so that brings Tune‘s total up to the same as Jay‘s – 21.

Congratulations to Weezy F Baby on this achievement. Hopefully he can overtake Jay this year with a Tha Carter V single, or a feature verse!

According to Billboard, Lil Wayne‘s latest single featuring Future and Drake, “Love Me“, has moved up to the #10 spot on the Hot 100 chart.

This makes it Weezy F Baby‘s 18th song that has been in the Hot 100 top 10 list, tying him in second place with Ludacris for the most top 10 tracks among rappers. Jay-Z leads the list with 19 songs, so I’m sure Wayne will overtake him in no time.

Lil Wayne Ties With Elvis Presley As The Male With Most “Hot 100” Appearances

Lil Wayne Ties With Elvis Presley As The Male With Most Hot 100 Appearances

Another big achievement for Lil Wayne to add to his accomplishments! This week, Juciy J‘s new single “Bandz A Make Her Dance” featuring Wayne and 2 Chainz debuted on Billboard‘s Hot 100 at No. 71. This marks Weezy F Baby‘s 108th appearance on Hot 100 – tying with the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” Elvis Presley as the male with the most appearances on the chart.

Out of the 108 tracks that have appeared on Hot 100, Tunechi has been the lead on 42 of those whilst in the other 66, he was a featured artist. Tune has also had two No. 1 singles on the chart, which you may remember – “Lollipop” and “Down“. Lil Wayne‘s latest single, “No Worries“, featuring Detail is currently in the Hot 100 list at No. 58 and is steadily climbing, so be sure to purchase that if you haven’t already done so – or again if you have!

This is a great achievement for Weezy, but he still needs one more to pass Elvis‘ record, so let’s make this happen with Tune‘s next single or feature verse.
