Chris Brown’s “Loyal” Single Featuring Lil Wayne Goes Platinum

Chris Brown Loyal Single Featuring Lil Wayne Goes Platinum

I don’t normally post about songs that feature Lil Wayne going Platinum, but while it’s been a quiet weekend I’ll make an exception for Chris Brown‘s “Loyal” single.

At the end of July, Breezy tweeted that his collaboration featuring Weezy and Tyga, as well as French Montana and Too $hort on the East Coast and West Coast versions, have sold over 1 million units.

Congratulations to everyone involved with “Loyal“! You can watch the music video for the track here.

Lil Wayne Discusses Hot Boys Reunion, Album Cover For “I Am Not A Human Being II” & More

Earlier today, Lil Wayne chopped it up with to Alison Fensterstock from NOLA.com at the Macy’s store in Lakeside Shopping Center on 3301 Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Metarie, Louisiana.

They discussed where Tunechi bought his clothes from when he was a child, a TRUKFIT clothing line for women, what he will be wearing at GQ magazine’s 2013 Super Bowl party, why he will not be rocking a suit at the event, a Hot Boys reunion (says he is ready to go), Turk being released from jail, and more.

You can read a few excerpts from the rest of Alison‘s interview with Weezy F Baby below (which did not make the video) were they talked about the artwork for I Am Not A Human Being II that Kanye West designed, the album itself, watching skate videos, and listening to Too $hort all day.

Lil Wayne Featured On Shortyo’s Upcoming Album

Shortyo

Shortyo is releasing his debut album titled “King Of The Kounty” on October 13th, 2009 and we have also found out that Weezy F Baby will making a guest appearance on there:

Shortyo‘s premiere album, “King Of The Kounty“, features rap icons Nate Dogg, Too Short and Lil Wayne. Platinum artist, Yung Berg, also lends his vocals to “King Of The Kounty‘s” first single, “Stripper” which can be heard on college and Philadelphia area radio stations. Shortyo‘s upcoming single, “There He Go”, featuring Reed Dollaz, is a “hard thumping street anthem” aiming to give Philadelphia the lyrical fix they’ve been looking for. (antiMusic)

So, this is another Weezy song to be on the lookouts for and who knows, it might actually end up being a single and a music video coming with it 🙂
