Big Sean Names Lil Wayne In His Top 5 Dead Or Alive Rappers List

While on “The Fat Joe Show“, Big Sean was asked by Fat Joe who are his top 5 rappers of all time dead or alive.

The Detroit rapper named The Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Jay Z before then going on to list his top 10 with Rakim, Nas, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, and Outkast as one.

Shaquille ONeal Names Lil Wayne In His Top 5 Rappers Dead Or Alive List

Last month, Shaquille O’Neal made an appearance on “The Fat Joe Show” to chop it up with Fat Joe over Skype.

During their conversation, Shaq was asked who are his top 5 rappers dead or alive to which he responded with:

“At the point guard you got Lil Weezy [Lil Wayne], at the shooting guard I got Em [Eminem], at the small forward I got Jay-Z, at the four I got Pac [Tupac Shakur], and I got B.I.G. [The Notorious B.I.G.] at the five.”

Lil Wayne Reveals His Top 5 Rappers, Why He Made Best Rapper Alive, Working On Old School Hip-Hop Beats For His Next Project & More

Lil Wayne was the special guest on episode 1 of DJ Khaled‘s brand new podcast dubbed “The First One“, which premiered on Amazon Music.

During their 45-minute conversation, Weezy spoke on his very first rap group with B.G. called The B.G.z, going by the name Baby D, first meeting Birdman, his “Block Burner” song, being influenced by Missy Elliott in the Hot Boys days, and more.

Around the middle of the discussion, Tunechi revealed he has been sent 3 old-school hip-hop beats to spit over for his next project (presumably No Ceilings 3) and 2 of them are: “Ether” by Nas and “Takeover” by Jay Z. However, after a quick Google, Tune realized he already did a freestyle over “Ether” on SQ1.

Wayne also talked about his favorite verse, his top 5 rappers, his top 5 anthems, the “We Takin’ Over” verse, creating the “Best Rapper Alive” song off Tha Carter II album, his The Suffix mixtape that was hosted by Khaled, and confirmed there will be another album in Tha Carter series. The DOC Says Lil Wayne Is In His Top 5 Rappers Of All Time List

The D.O.C. was a recent guest on the Hip-Hop Uncensored podcast where he chopped it up with hosts SamAnt and O’God.

During his appearance (watch below), The D.O.C. was asked to name his top 6 rappers of all time for his basketball lineup and Lil Wayne was included in this list.

As well as Wayne, the N.W.A affiliate also revealed the other rappers that he would put in his list are: Rakim, Tupac Shakur, Eminem, Slick Rick, and Big Daddy Kane. He then on to say these names are not in order and everyone is No. 1!

Around the 24:30 mark, Luda was asked who his top five rappers with the greatest flows of all time are to which he named: Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, JAY-Z, and Lil Wayne.

The rapper and actor did say that “this is probably, might be one of the greatest questions I’ve ever been asked”. You can watch him list five rappers that he feels have the best flows in the rap game below!
