Fat Joe Names Lil Wayne As The Best Rapper Hes Ever Seen Record In A Studio

In an excerpt from season 5 episode 4 of Uninterrupted’s “The Shop” series, Fat Joe revealed Lil Wayne is the best music artist he has ever seen record in a studio and called him “a beast”.

Joey Crack explained to Amy Schumer, Don Lemon, Paul Rivera, Maverick Carter, and LeBron James what he has learned from being in the studio with Weezy and why it was a privileged for himself.

For the third time in his life, Joe also told the story of witnessing Tunechi record his “We Takin’ Over” verse for DJ Khaled, which included Tune sparring with a huge speaker inside the studio room as the instrumental played in the background!

Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, and Wiz Khalifa all recently sat down together for a new episode of “Self Made Tastes Better” that was set up by Luc Belaire, Bumbu rum, McQueen and the Violet Fog gin, and Villon.

During their 1-hour conversation, they all shared never-before-told stories about themselves and their careers, how to be successful, what they want their legacy to be, how they stay motivated, and how they all inspire each other.

In the convo, Tune also spoke on where it all began for himself, how he chases greatness every single day, and how he has not hit his peak yet as he wants to be the “ultimate artist”. Khaled even revealed he was there at Odyssey Records in New Orleans when Weezy got his deal at a young age!

Over the weekend on February 19th, Lil Wayne was spotted sitting court-side at the 2022 State Farm NBA All-Star Saturday Night event with Dhea Sodano, Lil Baby and Machine Gun Kelly.

DJ Khaled also brought out Wayne during the show to perform their “We Takin’ Over” single live from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

It’s that time of the week again! Today’s “Feature Friday” edition is a single from DJ Khaled called “We Takin’ Over” featuring Lil Wayne, T.I., Akon, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, and Birdman.

The Danja-produced song appears on Khaled‘s second studio album, We The Best, which was released back in 2007.

Lil Wayne was the special guest on episode 1 of DJ Khaled‘s brand new podcast dubbed “The First One“, which premiered on Amazon Music.

During their 45-minute conversation, Weezy spoke on his very first rap group with B.G. called The B.G.z, going by the name Baby D, first meeting Birdman, his “Block Burner” song, being influenced by Missy Elliott in the Hot Boys days, and more.

Around the middle of the discussion, Tunechi revealed he has been sent 3 old-school hip-hop beats to spit over for his next project (presumably No Ceilings 3) and 2 of them are: “Ether” by Nas and “Takeover” by Jay Z. However, after a quick Google, Tune realized he already did a freestyle over “Ether” on SQ1.

Wayne also talked about his favorite verse, his top 5 rappers, his top 5 anthems, the “We Takin’ Over” verse, creating the “Best Rapper Alive” song off Tha Carter II album, his The Suffix mixtape that was hosted by Khaled, and confirmed there will be another album in Tha Carter series.
