T-Pain Explains Why He Used To Hate Lil Wayne

Earlier this month, T-Pain hosted an Instagram Live session to discuss his and Lil Wayne‘s amazing year in music back in 2007 and how they broke The Beatles’ record for the most No. 1s on Billboard.

In another clip from the Instagram Live session, Pain revealed he used to hate Wayne as he always wanted to be like him and that he was especially jealous of the 10,000 Bars song.

Fee Banks Discusses The Sqad Up Days, Lil Wayne Stepfather Rabbit Being His Uncle, Flow, LAT & More

I posted Mannie Fresh’s interview with Thedo and MAQ on their “DaTakeOver” podcast yesterday, and now we can listen to another 1-hour interview “DaTakeOver” guys did; this time with one of Lil Wayne‘s homies since day one – Fee Banks.

Fee spoke on how he and Lil Wayne first met, Rabbit aka the guy who Tunechi calls his father being his uncle, the Sqad Up days, working with Kevin Gates, being inside the studio with Tune as he wrote and recorded 10,000 Bars, Young Money artist Flow, how Wayne‘s first impression was when he first met the Esho Hero as he is like a Weezy clone, Birdman, and plenty more.

Lil Wayne‘s longtime right hand man also confirmed that the L.A.T (Loyalty Amongst Thieves) collaboration project from Wayne, Flow, Gudda Gudda and HoodyBaby is on the way, as well as that Flow has an upcoming single featuring Mr. Carter which will catapult his career, but Banks wants the Esho Hero to record a new verse on it before it’s released and he can’t as he’s currently locked up. This is more than likely the “Killerz On My Team” track!

Lil Wayne Explains Why He Stopped Writing Down Music In ‘Behind The Music’

This video works for people outside of the USA as well.

In the rapper’s upcoming “Behind the Music” special, set to air September 10 on VH1, he talks openly about scrapping his rhyme books during a furious recording session, where he transformed from Cash Money‘s young sidekick to the label’s heavyweight superstar.

“The only way I won’t be able to rap anything I’ve written again is to record everything I’ve ever written before once,” he explained of what led to his now notebook-free style.

The result was a 35-minute freestyle called “10,000 Bars,” on which Wayne‘s disjointed rhymes, parts of various working songs, become a cathartic release and set the tone for his memorable mixtape run and a series of Carter albums.

“That changed Wayne as an artist,” his longtime manager, Cortez Bryant, said.

I think this is crazy how Wayne doesn’t write nothing down anymore and it just shows how great of an artist he actually is. Also, I can’t wait for this “Behind the Music” to air on 10th September.
