It’s that time of the week again! Today’s “Feature Friday” edition is a single from DJ Khaled called “We Takin’ Over” featuring Lil Wayne, T.I., Akon, Rick Ross, Fat Joe, and Birdman.

The Danja-produced song appears on Khaled‘s second studio album, We The Best, which was released back in 2007.

As it is #ThrowbackThursday today, we can check out a Lil Wayne interview with 97.9 The Box radio station in Houston, Texas from back in 2007 around Christmas time.

In the conversation, Weezy talked about his passion for rap, his tattoos including getting Jay Z’s “Lucky Me” song title tattooed on his neck and lyrics from the verse on his leg (he used them at the end of “Mr. Carter” too), creating his “Gossip” track, what he wanted for Christmas, what presents he bought his daughter Reginae Carter for Christmas, and much more.

Tunechi also discussed being too famous and how that effects his privacy, the white cup, his relationship with Karrine Steffans aka Superhead, what New Year’s resolution he had, appearing on “The Boondocks“, Stacey Dash, his thoughts on the GRAMMY Awards, and revealed his favorite collaborations at that moment in time were Natasha Bedingfield’s “Love Like This” remix and Playaz Circle’s “Duffle Bag Boys” single. In their sit-down conversation, Tunechi talks about purchasing land, how much he charges for a feature verse, his relationship with Juelz Santana, why he believes he is the Best Rapper Alive, and more.

The “Feature Friday” edition for this week is a remix of Kanye West‘s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” single featuring verses from Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, as well as adlibs from Jeezy.

This Kanye and DJ Toomp-co-produced song does not appear on any official project, but it did surface online via a DJ back in 2007.

“But I know what I’m doing; Out the window of the jet, you see L.A. like a Bruin (ha)”
