Cool from producer duo Cool & Dre recently chopped it up with Kathy Iandoli for an interview with BET for their “musicians who got our attention in 2016” article.

In the interview, Cool revealed that he thinks Lil Wayne has had a great 2016, but it has not been where his previous years were and that’s because he has been dealing with a lot of business to make sure 2017 is a totally different year.

The producer also confirmed he has been working in the studio with Tunechi on new music, as well as that Tune has “an amazing catalog of stuff that hasn’t been released” yet. Cool mentioned that Wayne has “been gearing up for an amazing 2017-2018” too.

Lil Wayne Cancels His Live Performance At The SummerFall Concert In Curacao

Lil Wayne Cancels His Live Performance At The SummerFall Concert In Curacao

Lil Wayne was due to headline the 2016 SummerFall concert at Stadion Ergilio Hato aka Sentro Deportivo Korsou (SDK) in Willemstad, Curacao last night with Rick Ross, French Montana, Meek Mill, Yo Gotti, August Alsina, Fat Joe, and Jeremih.

However, Wayne cancelled his appearance and performance, but there doesn’t seem to be any exact confirmation as to why. According to TMZ, reps for Tunechi have told them he didn’t show up because of a breach of contract and promoters for the show are saying that they did everything right with the contract and Tune didn’t turn up because he suffered from a seizure on Friday evening.

Hopefully it all gets cleared up and we find out soon why Weezy didn’t end up performing live at this year’s SummerFall concert in Curacao!
