Skip Bayless Explains More About A Good Deed Lil Wayne Did To Help One Of His Best Friend’s Son Beat Cancer At A Young Age [Video]

Skip Bayless Explains More About A Good Deed Lil Wayne Did To Help One Of His Best Friend's Son Beat Cancer At A Young Age

Back in May, Skip Bayless first mentioned that Lil Wayne did a good deed for one of his best friends Craig Humphreys’ son, Sam Humphreys, who was battling testicular cancer at the young age of 21-years-old by going out of his way and giving him a pep talk for support.

After appearing on “UNDISPUTED” last month, Skip thanked Wayne for appearing on the show between concerts on his current tour with Blink-182 and for helping Sam beat cancer. He also added that Weezy gave Sam VIP treatment at his Los Angeles show on August 8th and gave him a shout out which ended in him getting a standing ovation from the sold-out crowd.

In other news, Lil Wayne also gifted the hots of “UNDISPUTED” (Skip Bayless, Jenny Taft and Shannon Sharpe) with some special gifts for allowing him to be on the sports show so often – a bit of bling. You can see a picture of Wayne and Sam Humphreys backstage at the L.A. concert above and see the videos of Bayless giving a heartfelt thank you to Tunechi, as well as showing off the gifts from Tune below!

Cortez Bryant Says Everything Is Good Between Lil Wayne & Cash Money, Will Not Be Leaving The Label

Cortez Bryant Says Everything Is Good Between Lil Wayne & Cash Money, Will Not Be Leaving The Label

According to Lil Wayne‘s manager and best friend, Cortez Bryant, everything is currently good between Wayne and Cash Money Records. Tez also said that they will not be leaving labels and that Tyga is “good” too.

If you missed the news yesterday, Weezy went on Twitter to announce that Birdman and Cash Money will not let him release his Tha Carter V album, as well as that he wants off the label and nothing to do with them, because he feels like a prisoner.

It’s crazy because in October, Baby mentioned in an interview that he has nothing to do with album push-backs, he lets Tunechi do whatever he wants to do, and he lets him put out an album whenever he wants to. You can read that interview here.

Anyways, hit the jump to watch TMZ ask Cortez about the situation as he was leaving Penthouse club last night!

Release Date For The Second Single Off Lil Wayne’s “I Am Not A Human Being II” Album!

Release Date For The Second Single Off Lil Waynes Upcoming I Am Not A Human Being II Album

According to Lil Wayne‘s best friend and manager, Cortez Bryant, the second single off Weezy‘s upcoming I Am Not A Human Being II album will drop tomorrow on Dedication 4.

“In a giving mood today Since I pushed back D4 For #teamtunechi fans I’m going to release the next single for IANAHB2 on D4 tomorrow!!” – Tez

I’m pretty shocked at this decision, because normally a single would be released on iTunes so that us fans can purchase it and support Wayne, not put out on a mixtape for free. Unless they plan on putting DJ Drama’s tags all over the single or just dropping a snippet, so that the CDQ version can be bought on iTunes at a later date. Anyways, this is still great news and has got me even more hyped for tomorrow!

Check back on LilWayneHQ.com tomorrow at around 4PM EST to download the fourth installment of Dedication 4. Tune‘s I Am Not A Human Being II album currently does not have a release date, but you can watch the music video for the first single here.

Mack Maine Speaks On Lil Wayne Wanting To Retire

Mack Maine Speaks On Lil Wayne Wanting To Retire

Earlier this year, Lil Wayne told Hot 97 and XXL that he would retire from the music game in his early 30’s to become a better father to his kids. Obviously none of us fans want to see him leave the music game, but does the Young Money President and best friend of Tunechi think the same ❓ Check out what Mack Maine told XXL Magazine below:

“As far as that retirement goes, I don’t know what he’s talking about,” YM President Mack Maine told XXLMag.com. “I’m not trying to hear that… I mean technically he can. We paved the way where Young Money the brand is gonna be so big. And he’s done so much where he can just tour. But I know his love and passion for the music…. I also know he has love and passion for his kids and family and he sacrificed a lot of this life we living. So at 30, if he says he wants to hang it up and be a family and a businessman, I wouldn’t be mad at it. He’ll be like 18, 19 close to 20 years in the game. And have put out that many albums. He’ll be a vet at a young age. It’s not like we’re gonna need to put out albums, it’s just the passion. Can you walk away from it?”
