The “Feature Friday” edition for this week is Mack Maine‘s “Young Money” song featuring verses from former Young Mula label-mates Curren$y and Boo, as well as a hook from Lil Wayne.

This track officially appears on Mack‘s mixtape, Don’t Let It Go To Waste, which was released in 2012 even though it first leaked back in 2009.

Jody Breeze Discusses Having Unreleased Music With Lil Wayne

Jody Breeze recently sat down with Ben Scarborough and Jake Kopanski for an interview with Atlanta based multimedia studio and record label Third Eye Collective to promote his new project, I Still Feel Like Rappin’.

Around the 15:00 mark of their conversation (see below), Jody revealed he has music with Lil Wayne that no one has heard yet as before Hurricane Katrina, they both sat in Wayne‘s crib along with Boo and recorded about 8 songs together.

If you didn’t already know, Breeze and Tunechi have previously collaborated together on “Catch Me If You Can” and “Lil’ Daddy“. Tune also referenced him on his “Dreams & Nightmares” freestyle off Sorry 4 The Wait 2: “Had that Snowman in the hood like Jody Breeze”!

I have chosen Boo & Gotti‘s “Ain’t It Man” single featuring a chorus and lots of ad-libs from Lil Wayne for this week’s “Feature Friday” installment.

The Leslie Brathwaite-produced track appears on the duo’s Perfect Timing album that was released back in 2003.

Ab-Soul Raps Along To Lil Wayne We Pimpin Yall Simpin

A few days ago, Top Dawg Entertainment’s Ab-Soul released episode 1 of his “These Days Tour” vlog that was directed by Slick Jackson, which you can check out below.

Near the end of this video at the 4:10 mark, the West Coast rapper can be seen rapping along every word to Lil Wayne‘s “We Pimpin’, Y’all Simpin’” song. If you are not familiar with this track, it can be found on the Young Money The Mixtape Vol. 1 mixtape that dropped back in 2005.

I guess it’s cool to see Ab-Soul is a fan of Weezy F Baby. The Black Hippy member has also referenced Weezy in a couple of his songs that you can see here!

Tech N9ne Explains Witnessing Lil Wayne’s Recording Process, Calls It “Alien Shit”

Tech N9ne recently chopped it up with Double Cin at the end of October to talk about appearing on the track “Interlude” off Tha Carter IV, visiting Lil Wayne in jail for 3 hours, witnessing his recording process, not believing that Tune and Jay-Z really freestyle their songs, and more.

While talking about Weezy at the 6:00 mark, Tech explains the story of walking into a recording session at 4AM in Miami and witnessing Wayne, Mack Maine, and Boo all sitting at a table staring up to the ceiling while they think of what lyrics to say. Tech also mentioned that Tunechi had weed in his hand and was rolling it!
