During their 1-hour conversation, Weezy spoke about quarantining, surpassing Elvis Presley, his mother being a chef, growing up in New Orleans, his little brother Semaj, fatherhood, his son’s wanting to pursue a rap career, signing to Birdman and Cash Money Records, and his group with B.G. called The B.G.z.

Also in their convo, Tunechi talked about how he was put in solitary confinement for having an iPod in Rikers Island, giving back to charity, learning to play the guitar better for his album Rebirth, Green Bay Packers, skateboarding, YG being a very underrated skater, knowing and remembering the late Kobe Bryant, and much more!

Dooky Chase Restaurant Give Back To The Community With Some Help From Lil Wayne

Dooky Chase’s Restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana has been closed since Easter last month, due to COVID-19.

Even though they have suspended doing takeaways for now, Dooky Chase’s have been busy giving back to the community by cooking meals for charity with some help from Lil Wayne and partners.

According to NOLA, the restaurant has cooked up to 4,500 meals in the past few weeks that have been provided to churches, schools, and more! Dooky Chase’s Restaurant is looking to re-open their takeout service after Mother’s Day this weekend.

“Dooky Chase’s cooked up some 4,500 community meals over the past few weeks with support from New Orleans-born rapper Lil Wayne and local partners. The meals were provided to schools, churches and food pantries for the restaurant’s Community Give Back Days. Dooky Chase will resume takeout service in mid-May, after Mother’s Day, with the start date still to be determined.”

Before the game for charity, Tunechi signed the basketball and took the “First Shot”, but unfortunately he missed it.

Next month on October 15th, Lil Wayne will perform live at Jay Z and Beyonce‘s concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City that will be streamed live on TIDAL.

According to Page Six, the TIDAL concert will raise money for the Robin Hood Foundation, which is a charity that fights poverty and helps fund educational programs in New York’s poorest towns.

As well as Weezy, Jay and Queen B, there will also be live performances from Nicki Minaj and Lauryn Hill. If you wish to attend the show, tickets will be available soon from $50.00, as well as VIP packages that go as high as $100,000.00!
