Lil Wayne Has Now Appeared On Billboard’s “Hot 100” Chart For 18 Consecutive Years

Lil Wayne Has Now Appeared On Billboard Hot 100 Chart For 18 Consecutive Years

Last year, I reported about Lil Wayne charting the Billboard “Hot 100” chart for 17 consecutive years, and now his longevity and accomplishment has reached even greater.

With The Weeknd‘s “I Heard You’re Married” featuring Wayne debuting at No. 62 on the “Hot 100” this month, Weezy earns his first entry of 2022 – meaning he has now appeared on the chart for 18 consecutive years.

It’s a shame Tunechi missed out on entering the Billboard chart in 2003 as that would mean Tune will have charted 23 years in a row. Kanye West is the only rapper who has appeared on the “Hot 100” more than Mr. Carter with one extra year!

Jae Millz Addresses The Lil Wayne Bar - I Can Flip A Jae Mill To A Meek Mill

The special guest on episode #115 of “The Bootleg Kev Podcast” was none other than Jae Millz, who chopped it up with Bootleg Kev about his relationship with Lil Wayne and Young Money.

In their conversation, Millzy gave praise to Wayne by looking at everything he has accomplished so far, such as charting consistently and giving the world huge artists, and he is still only in his 30s.

Jae even discussed how he thinks Tunechi sent a shot to him on “Beauty And The Beat” with the line: “I can flip a Jae Mill to a f*ckin’ Meek Mill”. However, he says he is not mad at the diss before confirming he still talks to Tune.

Also in the interview, Millz recalled the studio sessions for “Every Girl” and “Bedrock“, how Weezy called all of the shots, and questioned why Mr. Carter does not get enough credit in the music industry. Check it all out below!

Lil Wayne Has Now Appeared On The Billboard “Hot 100” Chart For 17 Consecutive Years

Lil Wayne Has Now Appeared On The Billboard Hot 100 Chart For 17 Consecutive Years

DJ Khaled’s “Thankful” song featuring Lil Wayne and Jeremih has just made the Billboard “Hot 100” chart by entering in at the #100 spot.

This marks Tunechi‘s first entry on the chart in 2021, as well as also gives Tune an amazing new achievement, which is that he has now appeared on the “Hot 100” for 17 consecutive years since 2004.

Wayne has actually charted 21 of the last 22 years of his music career, but unfortunately, he missed out on the “Hot 100” chart in the year of 2003.

The only other rapper who has had a longer run than Weezy on this chart is Kanye West, who has entered the “Hot 100” for the last 18 years since 2003!
