Drake, Travis Scott & Lil Wayne Earned The Most Hot 100 Entries Of 2018

Drake, Travis Scott and Lil Wayne all controlled the Billboard charts in 2018.

Last year, Drizzy, Travis and Weezy appeared on the “Hot 100” chart the most times, which is a great look for hip-hop. Young Money’s Nicki Minaj also showed up on the list at #6 with 22 hits.

The 6 God earned 35 entries mainly thanks to Scorpion, Scott earned 31 entries mainly thanks to Astroworld, and Tunechi earned 25 entries on the chart mainly thanks to his Tha Carter V album. Congratulations to them all!

Every song from Lil Wayne‘s latest album, Tha Carter V, except for the Intro message from Wayne‘s mother Jacida Carter called “I Love You Dwayne“, has debuted in the Billboard “Hot 100” chart.

This is an amazing achievement and it also means that Weezy has tied with his Young Money artist Drake for the most simultaneous “Hot 100” debuts in a single week with 22 each.

This week on numerous Billboard charts, Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar‘s “Mona Lisa” collaboration that was co-produced by Infamous and Onhel debuted at No. 1.

These charts included “On-Demand Streaming Songs”, “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs”, “R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales”, “Rap Songs”, and “Rap Streaming Songs” with around 43 million.

Lil Wayne Is The First Artist In History To Debut Two Songs In The Hot 100 Top 5 At The Same Time

After Tha Carter V topped the Billboard 200 this week, Lil Wayne has become the first music artist in history to debut two songs simultaneously in the top 5 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart.

Just missing out to Maroon 5 and Cardi B’s “Girls Like You” at No. 1, Weezy‘s “Mona Lisa” featuring Kendrick Lamar debuts at No. 2 while his “Don’t Cry” track featuring XXXTentacion enters at No. 5.

The Young Money founder also joins his label-mate Drake as the only artists in history to debut four records in the top 10 on the “Hot 100” in a single week as “Uproar” debuted at No. 7 and “Let It Fly” featuring Travis Scott appeared at No. 10.

Tunechi is now tied with Eminem for male artists with the most “Hot 100” top 10 debuts as they both have 11 each and are 1 behind Drizzy, who is in the first place with 12. He has also surpassed JAY Z for the second most “Hot 100” top 10s among rappers with 24. Congratulations to Tune on all these achievements!

Lil Wayne Passes Drake On Billboard Hot 100 Chart For Most Entries

Just over a month ago, Drake tied his Young Money boss Lil Wayne for the most Billboard “Hot 100” hits among solo acts with 132.

Now after Wale‘s “Running Back” single featuring Wayne has debuted at #100 on the chart, Weezy is back in front of Drizzy once again with 133 hits.

Congratulations to Tunechi on this amazing achievement. If you count all acts, it is only the Glee Cast that are above Tune and 6 God with 207 entries on the “Hot 100” chart!

Lil Wayne Believe Me Single Featuring Drake Is Now Number 1 On The Billboard Mainstream R&B Hip Hop Chart

According to Billboard, Lil Wayne‘s “Believe Me” single featuring Drake has gone from #4 to #1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart. Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems, which tracks radio and Internet airplay of songs, says “Believe Me” saw a 6% rise in broadcasting time all the way up to 3,296 spins.

This now means that Weezy F Baby is in second place for the most No. 1s on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart, with his Young Money artist Drizzy in first place who has a total of 18 No. 1 records. Congratulations to them both!
