As you can see from the picture above with Dre on set, the upcoming song was more than likely produced by Cool & Dre, or Dre handles the hook.

For this week’s “Feature Friday” installment, I have picked a single from Birdman called “100 Million” featuring an intro and outro from DJ Khaled, a hook from Dre, and verses from Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Young Jeezy.

The Cool & Dre-produced song appears on Baby‘s third studio album, 5 * Stunna, which was released back in early 2007.

“Blood Gang swarm like a red ant pile; Mean mug, like I can’t smile; Like my grill didn’t cost me a 100 thou'”

For the tenth anniversary of Tha Carter III on June 10th, Billboard asked a few of the people involved with the classic Lil Wayne album to speak all about it.

Producers Bangladesh, Play-N-Skillz, Dre from Cool & Dre, and David Banner, as well as singer Bobby V discussed how the C3 songs came together and what the album’s legacy is looking like.

You can check out everything what they all had to say below. My favorite story has to be Banner revealing how he originally created “La La” for the film Shrek, but Wayne was like: “Fuck Shrek! I want that!”

For Tha Carter III‘s tenth anniversary yesterday (June 10th), Dre from production duo Cool & Dre chopped it up with GRAMMY about producing on the iconic Lil Wayne album.

Dre told the story of how him and Wayne created “Phone Home” off the Grammy Award-winning album at The Hit Factory recording studio in New York.

For this week’s “Feature Friday” edition, I have chosen Fat Joe‘s “The Crack House” song featuring Lil Wayne and Dre from production duo Cool & Dre.

The Steve Morales-produced track can be found on Joey Crack‘s The Elephant In The Room album that was released back in 2008. It also appears on the official soundtrack for the video game Grand Theft Auto IV.
