According to TMZ, Lil Wayne‘s former manager Ronald Sweeney has filed a lawsuit against the New Orleans rapper for over $20 million.

Ronald says Wayne hired him back in 2005 to help renegotiate his deal with Cash Money Records, which we know was also another lawsuit that finally got settled in 2018. However, the attorney claims he only got a few payments for his work and is now suing Weezy for the full cut.

In the suit that was filed by lawyer Ed McPherson, Ronald Sweeney also mentions he was asked by Lil Wayne to fire Cortez Bryant in 2018 over a conflict of interest in a legal dispute about who Drake was signed to. After doing so, Sweeney claims Tez and Mack Maine then conspired to cause a disagreement and anger between himself and Tunechi in which it ended with Tune firing the attorney.

The craziest part of this lawsuit is that Wayne sold his masters to Universal Music Group in June of this year for more than $100 million. Ronald Sweeney is using this to say Mr. Carter does have the money to pay him what he is owed.

A few days ago on September 2nd, the Miami police officers were called to Lil Wayne‘s crib on La Gorce Island in Florida after they received a 911 call reporting there was a shooting inside the house.

Of course when the police turned up, they found no victims and it ended up being another hoax 911 call, which is the same thing that happened to Wayne last year in March.

After the incident, Tunechi took to Twitter to thank the authorities for always being alert. The MPD (Miami Police Department) responded to Tune on their own Twitter page by saying they are glad he is okay and thanked him for the support.

Earlier today, police received a phone call from an unknown person that said he had shot four people and “seriously wounded” them at Lil Wayne‘s Miami Beach home.

Police officers arrived to the scene quickly and set up a perimeter. After waiting for it to be secure, the SWAT team entered Weezy‘s home and searched room for room, but found nothing.

Mack Maine also confirmed on Twitter as this was all going on that Tunechi is okay and was not at his house when the so-called shots were fired. Cortez Bryant was spotted co-operating with the police outside of Tune‘s crib too.

After the search was completed, police gave the all clear and said there were no indications of a shooting at Wayne‘s mansion, as well as confirmed that it was a large expensive hoax. They said they will now make an investigation to see who made the phone call!

A former Rikers guard says she was canned after a bad rap – a claim she tried to sneak a peek at Lil Wayne in lockup.

Amelia Negron, who is preparing a federal suit against the city, said union higherups forced her to falsely confess she was trying to star-gawk.

“I don’t even like rap,” said Negron, 33.

“I like rock and alternative music and didn’t know much about him when they said I tried to see him. None of it’s true.”

What really happened March 10 is that she popped her head into the unit where the performer was being held to see a colleague, Negron said.

“The door to the area was unlocked, and so I went in to say hello, and that officer said, ‘Hey, you can’t be here. We’ve got a celeb here.’ I said, ‘Okay, no problem,’ turned around and left,” Negron said.

She said that, after the short exchange, her superiors claimed she was trying to cozy up to Weezy.

“We did nothing wrong, but we were threatened with criminal charges, transfers, suspensions,” she said.

Omarion is kicked out of Young Money Entertainment due to the leak of his collaborative song with Lil Wayne.

Two months after being signed to Young Money Entertainment, Omarion has been dropped from the record company. Mack Maine tweeted this message on his Twitter which reveals that Omarion is fired because he has allegedly leaked his duet song with Lil Wayne.

“ATTN: Omarion is no longer Young Money … the song they leaked ft. Wayne is not official .. good luck 2 him in his future”.

Shortly after that, two of the Young Money‘s artists Jae Millz and Lil Twist re-tweeted Mack‘s message to show that it is not a rumor.

I really don’t know what to think of this, but it does serve him right for leaking a song as I’m sure rule #1 when you sign a YME contract is to never leak songs. Also O should of known better about this, because look what happened to Kidd Kidd 😉
