Lil Wayne To Headline Soundset 2019 Over Memorial Day Weekend

Lil Wayne has been announced as a headliner for the 12th annual Soundset Music Festival, which will be taking place at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in Minneapolis, Minnesota over Memorial Day Weekend on May 26th.

This will be Tunechi‘s very first appearance at Soundset and if you wish to attend this year’s music festival, click here to order your tickets online that start at a price of $109.00 for general-admission and $240.00 for VIP.

Plenty of rappers from the hip-hop world took to social media to share how happy they are that Lil Wayne has now released his long-awaited album, Tha Carter V.

The list of rap artists who wrote about C5 on their Twitter and Instagram pages included: Rick Ross, Drake, Ace Hood, Tyga, The Game, T.I., Chief Keef, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, and 2 Chainz.

There were also a few stand out tweets from G-Eazy: “C fucking 5 wow”, Lil Dicky: “Lil Wayne is so goddamn good at rapping. I don’t know who is a better rapper”, and Lil Yachty: “Oh my God, Carter 5 is insane, amazing”.

According to the RIAA, G-Eazy‘s “Order More” single featuring Lil Wayne, Yo Gotti and Starrah was certified Gold on April 4th.

This means that the DJ Spinz, Southside, and GSP-co-produced track has been purchased and streamed over 500,000 times since it was officially released on April 1st, 2016.
