Do Russ Smith & Damian Lillard Have A Collaboration With Lil Wayne Dropping This Summer?

Russ Smith & Damian Lillard Have A Collaboration With Lil Wayne Dropping This Summer

It looks like professional basketball players Russ Smith aka Russdiculous and Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A. have an upcoming collaboration with Lil Wayne on the way.

Russ recently took to Twitter to reveal he is “currently on a song with Lil Wayne”. He also named a few features that will appear on his upcoming Boss album and none of the names were Weezy, so I decided to do a bit more research.

In the replies section on this certain tweet, he added “I can’t believe it. When that drop heavy promo”, which would make you think that it’s not a solo song from Russ Smith.

I then found on the Russdiculous Records official Instagram page Smith and Dame have a forthcoming joint mixtape dropping in June that is hosted by DJ Kay Slay. With Lillard and Tunechi‘s friendship, it just has to be a collabo from all 3 of them! Right?

Cortez Bryant Reveals Lil Wayne Has A Scripted TV Series Based On His “Gone Til November” Book [Video]

Cortez Bryant Reveals Lil Wayne Has A Scripted TV Series Based On His Gone Til November Book

We first heard about this last year, and now footage has surfaced online of Cortez Bryant and Matt Ferrigno teasing an upcoming Lil Wayne show that could possibly premiere on Netflix.

While talking at Midem 2019 in France, which you can watch below, Ferrigno discussed how platforms like Netflix are “dying to get more hip-hop content” and this would be a good thing for Tunechi to share his story on.

Tez then shushed Matt up and said it is coming within a year (so it should be this year as the interview was done in 2019). He also revealed the show would be a scripted television series based on the “Gone ‘Til November” journal that Weezy wrote while locked up in Rikers Island back in 2010.

Lil Wayne Walks Off Stage & Hints At Quitting His Joint Tour With Blink-182 [UPDATED]

Lil Wayne Walks Off Stage & Hints At Quitting His Joint Tour With Blink 182

Lil Wayne is currently on a North American tour with Blink-182, but it looks like Wayne may already be quitting after 8 shows in for not being happy with the crowd response.

Last night during their concert at the Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, Tunechi stopped performing his “John” song to tell the crowd the following:

“Please forgive me, but I am so not used to performing to a crowd and there’s not too many, you know, like still from… that’s not my swag. I’m not sure how long I’m going to be able to do this tour, but make some noise for Blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night though.”

Tune then walked off stage after 20 minutes of his 45-minute set. According to someone who was at the concert yesterday, Blink-182 also took a shot at Weezy during their set by telling the crowd: “We are going to play one more song then we are going to play more! You know why? We are contractually obligated!”

You can check out some footage of all of this after the jump below. UPDATE – Lil Wayne has announced he will not be quitting the tour on Twitter:

Lil Wayne Teases A “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” Part 2 Tour [Video]

Lil Wayne Teases A Drake vs Lil Wayne Part 2 Tour

Back in 2014, Lil Wayne and Drake went on a joint tour across the United States of America and funnily enough, it ended in a tie at 17-17 each, and so they always said that they would do a sequel of the tour to find a winner once and for all.

On the final stop of Drizzy‘s “Aubrey And The Three Migos” tour last week, a video of Tunechi congratulating his Young Mula artist played on the big screen for everyone in attendance and during his message, Tune hinted at another “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” tour:

“Champagne, wassup man? Congratulations on your tour… you a bad motherfucker. Much success, much love… much credit, all due, all well deserved, you earned it all bro. I can’t wait to get back on that stage and we do our own tour again. “Drake vs. Tune, Wayne”… whatever you wanna call it. You will never win, you never do. Congratulations!”

You can watch Weezy‘s message for the 6 God after the jump below. I wonder if this could be anything to do with the upcoming musical collection from the Young Money and OVO family?!

Kobe Bryant, Michael Vick & Reginae Carter Tease Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V” Album

Kobe Bryant, Michael Vick & Reginae Carter Tease Lil Wayne Tha Carter V Album

After Floyd Mayweather and James Harden both teased Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter V this month, Kobe Bryant and Michael Vick have now teased the upcoming album in exactly the same way.

Mayweather shared a “V” promo image to his Instagram page with a caption reading “#21” and a goat emoji on September 7th before Harden did the same on September 13th with the number “#13” instead.

Now Kobe has posted the same “V” image on his social media with a caption reading “#8” and a goat smiley while Mike also did the same, but his number read “#7” instead. Both of these were uploaded on September 21st.

If these dates and numbers were a bit more planned out, you would think they are counting down to the release date of C5 on Wayne‘s birthday this Thursday (September 27th), which would be perfect for him to drop at midnight on the Friday as this is the day when new albums are usually released.

The numbers are all related to each sports athlete (mainly their jersey numbers), so I guess we will have to wait and see what happens, but if Weezy‘s good friend Chris Paul shares the “V” promo image on his Instagram page soon with a caption saying “#3” then it will certainly get interesting! What do you think the numbers mean?
