Lil Wayne Teams Up With Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club To Donate Toys To Around 1500 Kids In New Orleans For Christmas

Lil Wayne has partnered up with Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club in his hometown New Orleans, Louisiana to make nearly one thousand and five hundred kid’s Christmas even more special.

With the help of Weezy‘s cash donation, the parade krewe and community organization were able to give more than one thousand bicycles and toys to children on December 16th.

“New Orleans has shaped me and is the reason for my success. I always try to find ways to give back to my city. It’s an honor to be supporting the legendary Zulu Club who’s been showing patronage to our city long before I was born. I’m happy I can put a smile on the face of a kid in need for the holiday season!!”

After performing at his 2nd annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” in New Orleans on August 27th, Lil Wayne gave back to his hometown in Louisiana.

Weezy donated a pop-up skate park built by OC Ramps for his “Lil Weezyana Fest” to Parasite skate park in N.O.

Lil Wayne Speaks On Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans, Lil Weezyana Fest, Fatherhood, DJ Jubilee & More

Michael Smith recently chatted to Lil Wayne on his ESPN Radio podcast called “His & Hers“, which you can listen to below, about the tenth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, what he lost from the natural disaster, his hometown New Orleans, and how he is dealing with his current court cases.

Weezy also talked about the New Orleans Saints, his upcoming “Lil Weezyana Fest“, confirms that he will be bringing out DJ Jubilee and more surprise guests, as well as that he will be performing songs off the Hot Boys album Get It How U Live!! like “Block Burner” and “Neighborhood Superstar“.

Before they wrapped up the interview, Tunechi discussed being a father to his 4 children, what they are all into, how it is having a 16-year-old daughter, and what he likes to do with his kids. I have to personally say that I think it’s so cool Tune‘s oldest son is into his soccer and got Cristiano Ronaldo‘s approval. Maybe one day we will see Dwayne Michael Carter III playing for Manchester United FC haha!

Last night, Lil Wayne had an appearance and performance to make in Columbus, Ohio for a stop on his current “Release Partiez” nightclub tour. Curren$y was also in the same area at the same time making a cool coincidence.

While they were both in the same city, they decided to chill and smoke together on Weezy‘s tour bus. They also took a picture for Instagram, which you can view above with the following caption:

“Finna throw a concert in Hollygrove… Love hahaha… Jumped off my tour bus in Columbus Ohio after my show to burn one wit my long lost on his tour bus… ‘We both outta town dawwgg .. What u Tryna get into??'”

So could Tunechi and Spitta be about to hold a show in Hollygrove, New Orleans, Louisiana? Hopefully if this is serious, more details will surface online soon!
