T.I. recently sat down with Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings for an interview on their “Assets Over Liabilities” series that you can check out in full below.

Towards the end of their conversation, the idea of a T.I. vs. Lil Wayne VERZUZ battle was brought up by the REVOLT hosts to which the Atlanta rapper/actor responded with:

“I think that’s the VERZUZ [that people want] but I don’t think he [Lil Wayne] would do it. I probably wouldn’t if I were him…. one thing about bro, he in his own world and curating his own universe.”

DJ Folk Talks Unreleased Lil Wayne Music With Jeezy, Kevin Gates, AJayOnes & Many More

Production coordinator DJ Folk recently participated in a Q&A (question and answer) session with a Lil Wayne Discord server that you can read in full below.

Before the Q&A, Folk actually revealed that Jeezy has 2 unreleased songs with Wayne – one from 2011 that was produced by Drumma Boy and one from the 2014 Like Father, Like Son 2 sessions. He also mentioned producer AJayOnes has 3 more 2014 collaborations with Weezy that were recorded for Tha Carter V including one that was code named “Emergency“.

In the interview, DJ Folk discussed the I Am Not A Human Being II sessions, first meeting Tunechi, the “Life Of Mr. Carter” track, if he believes Kanye West “sabotaged” IANAHB2, wanting to get Amy Winehouse featured on “Kidnap Cupid” that was produced by Megaman, sending in a beat for a Tune and Kevin Gates collab that is still unreleased to this day, the Funeral album, his favorite Mr. Carter leak, there being at least 2000 unreleased Lil Wayne records in a vault, and much more!

DJ Drama Crowns Lil Wayne’s “Dedication 2” As The Best “Gangsta Grillz” Mixtape & Teases “Dedication 7” [Video]

DJ Drama Crowns Lil Wayne Dedication 2 As The Best Gangsta Grillz Mixtape & Teases Dedication 7

DJ Drama recently participated in a game of “Complex Brackets” with Brian “B.Dot” Miller, which consisted of himself reviewing his “Gangsta Grillz” catalog and choosing his very best mixtape from the series.

From a 16-seed bracket that included Lil Wayne‘s Dedication 2 and Dedication, Jeezy’s Trap Or Die, Chris Brown’s In My Zone, Meek Mill’s Dreamcashers 2, T.I.’s Down With The King, and more mixtapes, Drama got it down to just 2 – Dedication 2 vs. Trap Or Die and it was Wayne who came out victorious.

During the game, Drama also mentioned Dedication 2 was so big at the time in 2006 that it made The New York Times’ “Top 10 Albums Of The Year” list, as well as confirmed Dedication 7 is still happening… but very unconvincingly. Do you agree with D2 being the best “Gangsta Grillz” mixtape of all time and do you think D7 will actually ever happen?
