The RIAA Update Certifications For 7 Albums & 23 Singles By Lil Wayne

The RIAA Update Certifications For 7 Albums & 23 Singles By Lil Wayne

It’s about time! Lil Wayne‘s team have finally updated his certifications with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

I have listed the new Tunechi plaques for his albums and singles after the jump below. With “Lollipop” now being at 8x Platinum, I think it has a huge chance to be Tune‘s very first Diamond record.

PS: There has also been an image going around on social media with these new Weezy RIAA certifications, but there are 3 mistakes on it. I don’t know about you, but I hate how people rush to create things for likes and retweets without focusing on getting the correct information first. Then people will retweet without getting the facts themselves and spread more fake news around!

Kidd Kidd Recalls A Story From Being On Tour With Lil Wayne That Involves An Unreleased Song

Kidd Kidd Recalls A Story From Being On Tour With Lil Wayne That Involves An Unreleased Song

After previously hearing part 1 and part 2, we now have the third part of Kidd Kidd‘s interview with Maloney for Breaking Wreckords Radio.

In their conversation, which you can check out below, Kidd recalls a story of one time being on tour with Lil Wayne and when they arrived to the venue for a concert in Alabama, there were only 10-20 people there.

Kidd says Tunechi had the attitude of “I don’t care if there was only 1 person here, they are still here to see me perform”, and so he did. He also mentioned that Tune and Nivea performed a brand new song together that is still unreleased to this day as all of this was during the time they were dating.

The former Young Money rapper says he loved the track so much that he actually jumped in the crowd and jammed out to it with the fans. He even still tells Wayne every time he sees him to release the record. After sharing this story, Kidd mentioned that he felt disappointed when he read the rumor of Weezy cancelling his set for one of the stops on his joint tour with Blink-182, due to low ticket sales, as it made him think back of what happened in Alabama!

Kidd Kidd Pillow Feat Lil Wayne & Mack Maine

I have chosen a track from Kidd Kidd called “Pillow” featuring a verse and chorus from Lil Wayne, as well as a verse from Mack Maine for this week’s “Feature Friday” edition.

“And I don’t care who’s on the other line, it is her time for me to get mine; She’s my kind, I’mma be kind, and I don’t mean a drink when I say I make her wine”

With Wayne‘s voice and vocals being so high on this song (listen below), it is always a split between fans – half of the fanbase love it and half hate it! Are you a fan of “Pillow“?

Kidd Kidd Reveals 2 Chainz Was Supposed To Be Featured On Lil Wayne Mrs Officer Instead Of Himself

We received part 1 last week, and now here is the second part of Kidd Kidd‘s interview with Maloney for Breaking Wreckords Radio.

In this section of their conversation (listen below), Kidd explained the process of how Lil Wayne‘s “Mrs. Officer” single featuring himself and Bobby V off Tha Carter III album came about.

The New Orleans rapper says he was not originally supposed to appear on “Mrs. Officer” and instead he replaced 2 Chainz on it. He also added it’s a perfect example of being in the right place at the right time!
