Birdman Says Him & Lil Wayne Are Going To Iron Out Their Differences

Birdman recently sat down with Ebro for a one on one interview with Beats 1 radio to promote part 1 of his new documentary, “Before Anythang: The Story Behind The Cash Money Records Empire”.

As well as talking about the documentary, Baby also discussed his childhood, therapy, his relationship with Lil Wayne, how he first met Wayne, where the nicknames “Baby” and “#1 Stunna” came from, the biggest check he has ever received, legacy, and more.

“Me and my son had our differences, and that shit gon’ iron itself out, but still I gave that man a $100 million contract. One wire, press send, I was happy as fuck to be able to do that for Wayne, shoot him a $100 million.”

“I’m gon’ make sure he straight, we straight, and we gon’ continue doing what we started.”

AR-Ab recently sat down with Vlad TV for an interview to speak on how close he was to signing with Cash Money Records.

During their conversation, AR-Ab revealed that 6 months ago Birdman told him his and Lil Wayne‘s lawsuit was about to be over and he was about to settle out, but Wayne ended up saying something on stage and so Baby pulled the plug on it.

Young Roddy recently visited the watchLOUD office for an interview about who he thinks is the greatest rapper of all time to come out of New Orleans, Lil Wayne and Curren$y collaborating, the legacy of Soulja Slim, and more.

The Jet Life artist revealed in the conversation that he thinks Weezy is the greatest N.O. rapper of all time and his reason’s why are because he has been so consistent and relevant for decades since he first got in the hip-hop game as a teenager.

Birdman Discusses Relationship With Lil Wayne, Lawsuit, Tour Bus Shooting, LIV Club Incident & More

We saw a preview yesterday, now you can watch part 1 and part 2 of Birdman‘s interview with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez that took place on his yacht in Miami, Florida on July 21st below.

During the conversation, Baby spoke on his current relationship with Lil Wayne, if him or anyone in his crew threw something at Wayne at LIV nightclub earlier this month, doing business at a young age, Wayne‘s lawsuit against him that says he is owed $51 million, not knowing how everything will turn out, if he had something to do with the shooting at Wayne‘s tour bus in Atlanta, and plenty more.

Birdman also revealed that he has never sued anyone in his lifetime until TIDAL recently, it is impossible for Nicki Minaj and Drake to leave Cash Money Records, if Tunechi tells him to his face that he really wants to leave the label then he won’t stand in his way and he will still always support him, he last spoke to Weezy 2 days ago, and that Tune will forever be his son no matter what happens.

In part 2 of the interview, Baby gets asked about why he pushed Tha Carter V back, Turk, what he is most proud of, Tyga wanting to leave, Cash Money legacy, Young Thug and if he has beef with Mr. Carter, Tha Carter VI, what exactly went down at LIV nightclub when a cup of liquor was thrown at Lil Wayne, and more.
