Lil Wayne Wins At The 2019 Webby Awards

Lil Wayne was victorious at the 23rd annual Webby Awards, which announced the winners earlier this week on April 23rd.

The Webby Awards are an annual awards show that celebrate the best work on the Internet by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

Weezy won his award in the “Celebrity/Fan (Social)” category for Spotify’s “Tha Carter III 10-Year Anniversary” campaign, which we saw numerous rappers re-create the C3 album cover and speak on how the album influenced them.

An official ceremony to recognize the winners in every category at this year’s Webby Awards, which will be hosted by comedian Jenny Slate, will be taking place next month on May 13th in New York. Congratz to Tunechi!

DJ Stevie J took to his Instagram recently to share a recap of him DJing at LIV nightclub in Miami, Florida on May 13th that included appearances from Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Future, Young Thug, Chris Brown, Moneybagg Yo, PnB Rock, Casanova, and more.

In the comments of the Instagram post, FernFernando_ asked Stevie where is his “Imagine” collaboration with Tunechi and Swae Lee from Rae Sremmurd is to which the DJ responded back with “soon no [cap]”, which means no lie.

Organizers For Rolling Loud Explain Why Lil Wayne Cancelled His Set At The Miami Music Festival

As we know, Lil Wayne was a no-show at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on May 13th for this year’s Rolling Loud music festival, which he was a headliner for.

A lot of people thought Tunechi didn’t want to turn up to the show as there was bad weather and he attended LIV on that same evening, but organizers for Rolling Loud have confirmed the reason that Tune didn’t show up was because he “fell unexpectedly ill”.

Yesterday, Lil Wayne was a headliner for the 2018 Rolling Loud music festival at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, but for a currently unknown reason, he was a no-show.

However, Tunechi did hit up his usual spot on Sundays later that evening by making an appearance at LIV nightclub on Miami Beach.

Lil Wayne has been announced as a live performer for the 2018 Rolling Loud music festival at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on May 13th.

As well as Weezy, there will also be live performances on that Sunday from Future, Post Malone, 21 Savage, Rick Ross, Juicy J, Lil Yachty, Action Bronson, Roy Wood$, Machine Gun Kelly, $uicideboy$, Ugly God, Yung Lean, Robb Banks, Starlito & Don Trip, and plenty more.
