Lil Wayne Says Thank You To Furniture Maker Gib Fortune For Building Him A Custom Green Bay Packers-Themed Sofa [Video]

Lil Wayne Says Thank You To Furniture Maker Gib Fortune For Building Him A Custom Green Bay Packers Themed Sofa

A furniture maker from Milwaukee by the name of Gib Fortune has paid tribute to Lil Wayne by creating him a custom-made Green Bay Packers couch.

The green and gold sofa, which includes colorful lighting and space for champagne, took Gib a total of two days to build. His dream is to see Weezy sitting on it in a video:

“I just want to see him in a video sitting on something that I created. It would mean the world to me to see him sitting on a Green Bay Packer sofa with an autographed Packer football.”

While at the Packers vs. Seahawks NFL game on January 12th, Tunechi was shown the couch and did a little shout out to Gib Fortune to say thank you, as well as to say that he can’t wait to get it in his man cave. You can watch both Fortune show off the sofa to FOX6 News and Tune‘s thank you message below!

Tyga Discusses Not Knowing Whether You Are Going To Get A Lil Wayne Verse Or Mixtape Weezy Verse For A Feature

Last month, Tyga was the special guest on TIDAL‘s “Car Test” video series to promote his latest album, Legendary.

While driving Elliott Wilson around Beverly Hills in his 2019 Rolls Royce Cullinan, Ty spoke on how he came up with the “Lightskin Lil Wayne” song and how you never know if you’re going to get a “Lil Wayne verse” or a “Mixtape Weezy” verse when you send him a beat for a feature.

T-Raww mentioned he has never been around a superstar until Wayne signed him as an artist to Young Money, he very much looks up to Tunechi, how Tune is committed to who he is, his message and lyrics, and how he was happy he got “Mixtape Weezy” on his “On Me” song.

Also during their conversation, Tyga recalled Weezy doing a show at a music venue that was 500 capacity and it being full to where people were standing on top of each other, to then performing at arenas a couple of months later. You can check it all out after the jump below. Enjoy!

However, for a currently unknown reason, Tunechi does not appear on the outro of “Congratulations” anymore. Drizzy also praised Tune during his SFG thank you post on Instagram by writing: “a decade ago you took me out of Toronto and gave me the biggest blessing anybody has ever given me”.

Lil Wayne Teases A “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” Part 2 Tour [Video]

Lil Wayne Teases A Drake vs Lil Wayne Part 2 Tour

Back in 2014, Lil Wayne and Drake went on a joint tour across the United States of America and funnily enough, it ended in a tie at 17-17 each, and so they always said that they would do a sequel of the tour to find a winner once and for all.

On the final stop of Drizzy‘s “Aubrey And The Three Migos” tour last week, a video of Tunechi congratulating his Young Mula artist played on the big screen for everyone in attendance and during his message, Tune hinted at another “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” tour:

“Champagne, wassup man? Congratulations on your tour… you a bad motherfucker. Much success, much love… much credit, all due, all well deserved, you earned it all bro. I can’t wait to get back on that stage and we do our own tour again. “Drake vs. Tune, Wayne”… whatever you wanna call it. You will never win, you never do. Congratulations!”

You can watch Weezy‘s message for the 6 God after the jump below. I wonder if this could be anything to do with the upcoming musical collection from the Young Money and OVO family?!
