Yaj Kader Previews A New Murder Collaboration With Lil Wayne

Yaj Kader, who is one half of the Young Money affiliated rap group Vice Versa, has teased a new collaboration with Lil Wayne.

The song, which will be called either “Murder” or “Redrum“, plays at the very end of Yaj‘s new mixtape Dancing with Kode Red (DKR), available on streaming platforms now.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah; I can’t go to hell, because I’mma take over; I need you over…”

Yesterday, Lil Wayne made his very first appearance on Instagram Live (even though he has been on it before for Young Money Radio) by being a special guest on Fat Joe‘s new podcast titled “The Fat Joe Show“.

During their 28-minute conversation, Tunechi spoke on what age he first started rapping, shooting himself by accident, a white police officer named Uncle Bob who was off duty saving his life, meeting him years later in a restaurant, and what he thinks about the horrible murder of George Floyd by four cops in Minneapolis.

Weezy also discussed being locked up in Rikers Island for 8 months, getting his “never quit” attitude and drive from Birdman at a young age, his influence being the #1 Stunna, putting Drake and Nicki Minaj on, what he taught his son Kameron Carter after Nipsey Hussle was murdered, how proud he is about influencing a whole new generation of rap, an upcoming collaboration he has with Lil Uzi Vert, being the first to do the “rock-rap” genre of music, attending the late Betty Wright‘s funeral, performing “Sweet Home Alabama” with Kid Rock at the Country Music Association Awards, and much more!

After finding out a couple of days ago that Lil Twist will be featured on Lil Wayne and DJ Drama‘s forthcoming Dedication 6 mixtape, Twist has shared a conversation between him and Wayne about the collaboration.

On his Instagram story, the Young Money Youngin’ posted a screenshot of a text message that he received from Weezy after he had heard the verse from Twizzy, which read: “Murrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrderrrrrrrrrrrr. We got one w that one young. Thk ya”

Rich also made a comment on Drake‘s Instagram post, which was a picture of him and Tunechi with a caption saying “D6”, that read: “they ain’t ready” with a few emojis.

Lil Wayne rarely does interviews nowadays, but here is a new interview Wayne did on Saturday with Wild Wayne from New Orleans’ radio station Q93 to promote his upcoming second annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” taking place next weekend.

Throughout the 24-minute conversation, Weezy spoke on the first annual “Lil Weezyana Fest”, if he ever gets tired of rapping, the “new group” of rappers in today’s hip-hop game, Sqvad Up, Eminem, his “Gone ‘Til November” book, murders in his hometown including Toya Wright‘s brothers, how the ColleGrove album with 2 Chainz came about, and more.

Tunechi also revealed who exactly is signed to his Young Money record label, the status of his current situation with Birdman and Cash Money Records, and mentioned Flow and Kevin Gates have been replaced by himself and HoodyBaby to Gudda Gudda‘s L.A.T (Loyalty Amongst Thieves) group!
