After seeing scans from the February 2006 issue last year, I have decided to share scans from Lil Wayne‘s cover story for the December 2006 issue of Ozone magazine for #ThrowbackThursday today.

Okay, so do you have any messages for all the haters who have made different allegations about you recently?

Throwback Thursday: Scans Of Lil Wayne’s Cover Story For Ozone Magazine’s February 2006 Issue

Scans Of Lil Wayne Cover Story For Ozone Magazine February 2006 Issue

For #ThrowbackThursday today, I have decided to share scans from Lil Wayne‘s cover story for the February 2006 issue of Ozone magazine, which took place a few months after his Tha Carter II album had been released in stores.

In an interview with Julia Beverly for the mag, Weezy discussed everything from Hurricane Katrina (even though he was tired of talking about it), why he was not trying to be Jay-Z on his C2 album cover, wanting everyone to stop categorizing him, going to the University of Houston for Psychology classes, and deciding it was time to be a CEO.

What’s going on between you and B.G.? He put out a song dissing you, and I heard you were shouting “Fuck B.G.” at a recent show.
My album is in stores now, Tha Carter II, It’s my fifth solo album. It’s number two on the charts.

I’m sure everyone’s been asking you about your relationship with Trina. Are you open to talking about that?
No.

You’re trying to keep your relationship away from the public eye?
I ain’t tryin’. I am.

You can check out scans from Tunechi‘s cover story below that also includes him talking about touring with Jeezy and T.I., creating songs for different cities and sending them to DJs, his daughter Reginae Carter and why he would not let her be a rapper because he doesn’t think it is a good game for females, and much more!

Lil Wayne Scan & Quote From Ozone Magazine x More

New Lil Wayne Scan & Quote From Ozone Magazine
“Pistol on my neck, you don’t wanna hear that thing talk!”

Check out a new photo of Lil Wayne from the latest issue of Ozone Magazine, which is in stores now! You can also read what he tells Ozone in their sex issue about why he is a great Father to his kids:

“I’m not on child support with none of my kids cause I’m a great father. So it’s not determined by how much money you’re paying at all. That’s not what it’s about. It’s about being there and being that important person in their lives. It’s about being #1 or #2 in their life. That’s very important for your child, to make sure you’re that #1 or #2. Because if you’re not, you know what #1 or #2 could end up being. That’s the most important thing of all. I just try to make sure I’m of the highest importance in their lives, next to their moms.”

Lil Wayne Covers Ozone Magazine + Excerpts From The Issue

Lil Wayne Covers Ozone Magazine + Excerpts From The Issue

Lil Wayne covers the front of Ozone Magazine‘s “Sex Issue” which will be hitting newsstands soon. You can see the front cover above, and also read a few excerpts from the issue below. Weezy talks about his relationship with Shanell, The Carter Documentary, baby mama’s, personal life, respecting women, and more.

There was some controversy over the release of The Carter documentary. Did you feel like they emphasized the drug addiction aspect too much? Is that the reason you didn’t want it released?
The fact that we didn’t want it released was business; paperwork. I feel like, if I agreed to have that camera around me, then I can’t tell that person what to edit when they go to the editing room, unless I am in the editing room and editing with them. If I’m not then I shouldn’t complain, but I was supposed to have a say-so because I had to approve it. And that was the whole [problem]. I didn’t approve it and they still put it out.

So you weren’t happy with the creative aspect or the business or both?
It was some of both. There were females on there with me and sh*t, you know? Why give them some shine when I’ve got baby mothers? I believe as an editor or whatever, as a person associated with me, if you want to become a real business partner with me I believe you should consider things like that. I shouldn’t have to be the one to consider it.
